Also see www.sans.org/reading-room/whitepapers/firewalls/designing-dmz-950 And check out 'Defense in Depth' (ruclips.net/video/IiWFMIgKaqQ/видео.html) if you haven't already.
Dmz mapped to IOS model is between layers 3-4 and sometime goes to to layer 7 and sometimes goes to 1-2 layers.. mean if u want to fit DMZ LAYER on IOS it might have things like https on layer 7 and firewall on layer 3 and ssl/ TLS on layer 6 ?? Is that right ????
Network Direction i meant like all things we can do in the DMZ can be classified some how on the OSI layers .. for example - firewalls fits on layer 3 and SSL/ TLS ON LAYER 6 and so on

The Best! Channel...
Great explanation. May be its just me but background music is a bit too loud
Thanks for the feedback. I don't often use background music anymore; It's too distracting
Could you do a video on SDN and SD WAN sometime? I want to have some material ahead of the curve when this certpocalypse happens. ;]
Possibly... I need to figure out the certpocalypse too 😏

DMZ is a concept, not a protocol, so it doesn't fit into the OSI model. Protocols like TLS can fit into the OSI model

could you please do a video on CIDR ..........
