This anime was a lot scarier than what I'm normally comfortable with but it was so addicting I watched the whole thing and now I'm waiting for season 2.
I got a little nostalgic when I saw this opening, it reminds me of the horror anime of the 2000s, something similar happens to me with Liar Liar, which reminds me of the magical school series that came out in 2015.

exactly what the story feels since they are humans against supernatural you can see many arcs that they feel like just running away and cannot be understood what's happening but they still fight
Honestly after watching first episode, she gave me Constantine vibes. Except for chain smoker Brit it's Loli with crowbar. Also their group antics can be summed up as "Scooby gang stuck in a legit J horror movie" Edit: I also wonder if I guess correctly what took her mother spirit away. The way that thing looked is pretty on the nose what or who it suppose to be.
I wish there's 2nd season of this anime. Rarely get shiver and chill feeling when watching horror but this can give it, kudos to those who involved making this anime

Gonna ne a nit. The Manga still doesn't have enough content for a second season. It's close though. With that being said, it would still take a while to animate, if they get on it immediately when there's enough content.
