very high quality video editing and narration. pro level. I like the theme of your channel, it's not just sailing, but more of a coverage of the culture and lives of these coastal towns, in addition to nature

Lovers of Jesus point from more religious times. The Beach House is one of our favorite restaurants in the area and we've been to the aquarium to much. The western flyer will be back in November and the diving is world class. We love our home and you did such a wonderful job showing the area in such a short time. Wishing you fair winds and following seas.

That entrance is nuts. I was slipped close enough to watch. When the king tide runs through there it’s probably 7-9 knots. 😮

@@sailingavocet so.. hate to bug.. but I’m going to be a Perkins user/owner in the near future. Could you tell me what was the reason for the runaway, if you can pinpoint it? I could use any advice Ty. And somebody really likes to write. And they are quite good :) Ty!

Excellent videographers … narration was smooth and relaxing . Highly underrated channel . Seems like people only respond to chaos rather then good sailing ⛵️

Wayback when after meeting you guys and bringing Gita back up North to SF we ducted into Monterey bay and grabbed a slip for few days while waiting out a storm system moving south. Monterey bay is such a magical part of California sailing... And you aren't kidding, tight entrance indeed to the inner harbor area. Great post guys and the filming is epic! Well done.
BTW, is that a CPT auto pilot? How do you like it?

... yikes .... on a diesel you can not even just pull off the center plug on the distributor .... curious to hear what happened, how did you kill it, did you have a fuel shutoff there .... did not know what an Avocet was or even if it was something. Will be doing the google to find out more like if it is one of those cool birds that fly's underwater ... also did a google on the fin whale of whom the killer whale is a predator .... thx for touring us around Monterey, beautiful city and surroundings .... thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....

If you can’t wait to learn more about how the engine issue turned out, visit our website www.svavocet.com 🤙 an Avocet is a coastal wetland bird. The boat was named by the previous owners wife, and we decided to keep it to honor the legacy. Cheers!

Lol at the time I believe they thought if they could supplement it with enough feeder fish that it wouldn’t turn on its tank mates. Fortunately they were able to rehabilitate it and return it to the wild
