  • The Chairman Rangers International Football Club Foundation, Coach Ebere Amaraizu has lauded the efforts of the organisers of Mbaise Nations Football League on commitment towards the hosting and organisation of the league, describing the just concluded community league as that which will leave good memories of community dialogue for peaceful coexistence and community cohesion.
    The Rangers international Football Club Foundation Chairman made this known recently at the grand finale of the community tournament held recently at Ogbe City Football Ground Ahiazu Mbaise which involved about twelve teams. He maintained that what informed the involvement of Rangers international football club Foundation is because the event revolved around community resilience and cohesion which is one of the cardinal strategic action plans of the Rangers international foundation for a greater community within the south east Zone as well as other parts of the country and however commended the efforts of the managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Silver News and WAKAWAKA Newspapers Kennedy Onwunali for coming up with such community impact program.
    On his part, the Executive Director Cope and Live Mental Health awareness Foundation, Reverend Chukwudiebube Nwachukwu also lauded the efforts of Kennedy Onwunali who also is the FOCAL Person for Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation at IMO State for the initiative which is aimed at improving mental and physical wellness of young persons for a greater society and in line with the multi sports and community sports framework of Cope and Live mental Health Awareness Foundation and urged him not to relent at ensuring the deepening of community awareness on mental health for Holistic wellbeing.
    Speaking while handing over the trophy to the winning team, Dr Kachi Nwoga the Board of Trustee Chairman of Mbaise Nations Football League and Chairman Central planning committee of Iri ji Mbaise applauded the team spirits of all the participating team and urged them to sustain the tempo of the unity, oneness and community cohesion which the event taught them.
    In his vote of thanks, Kennedy Onwunali thanked all for honouring the event which was organised to strengthen community resilience and cohesion. According to him, there were so many positive takeaways from the tournament and we have to sustain them and also improve on the ones we have identified for amendments. He further thanked Rangers international football club foundation and Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation for their support. The grand finale was between Platinum Fc vs Amagba FC all of Mbaise. Platinum Football Club overcame Amagba Fc by 4 goals to 1 to lift the 2024 Mbaise Nations Football League for Iri ji Mbaise Imo state.
