God I miss Uraya. One of the coolest video game area's I've ever been to. I like how it is a central landmark in Aionios and you can see it from virtually anywhere in the world, it's just a shame a lot of the titan is gone, so you can't really explore inside it anymore.
@@gutsberserker5476 Aionios suffers from a phenomenon called annihilation events, where big chunks of land mass just up and disappear. I’m a bit fuzzy on the details of how and why this happens, but if I recall correctly the party of XC3 sees such an event happening when the look at Uraya, a large chunk of it’s back disappears. If you play the DLC or visit the Erythia Sea you can see Uraya’s front with the large teeth, I had kinda hoped you could enter it through its mouth, but the Urayan Tunnels are all that is left of its insides.
@@MoonMillenniummon you're right and i still listen to that theme a lot because it reminds me of Uraya, but it's just a shame that we don't really enter it aside from the tunnels
I think it's funny you say that because 2 is definitely my favorite overall, but I leaned more towards Keves in this game. Melia looked absolutely gorgeous and most of my favorite commanders are from Keves (mostly looking at you, Zeon).
@@SvanEsch123Same I would choose Keves too. I just like Melia too much to choose otherwise. Also Xenoblade 1 was the first game I played in the series. So I am a bit biased.
man, Eagus Wilderness hits different when you hear the theme at night with nothing else in your mind, XC2 OST may be more orchestral and impressive, and it is, but XC3 OTS its really really inmersive and ambiental and i just love it, chills
While I didn't really vibe with Xenoblade 2's story, you gotta admit the environments are something else. That's what I felt Xenoblade 3 really really lacked... It was mostly just plains everywhere... there was little of that "whoa" factor when you discovered a new area... everything felt pretty samey after a while (except for maybe Maktha?)... Xenoblade 2's titans are all just so unique and beautifully designed... Even Temperantia, compared to all the others, offers a nice contrast. Even Xenoblade 1 is superior in that regard. Also, thank you for the music.
Yeah I agree with you there. Something about 3's world felt just kind of off compared to the first two. The world of 3 is bigger (I mean just look at Erythia sea), yet I felt like I kind of just flew through the areas in a way that I didn't in 1 (like exploring all of Valak mountain) and 2 (with Leftheria and Tantal). I did thoroughly explore the world of 3 but it almost felt more linear than the other two in a strange way.
SPOILERS (for XC3 locations) I agree as well. I'll never forget the feeling of landing on Uraya's Stomach or Leftherian Archipelago for the first time and thinking to myself: "woooah, this is gorgeous!". In Xenoblade 3, the places that most resemble this feeling are The Lost Colony and Malevolent Hollow. Even so, it might still be my favorite game out of them all, and I'm so glad the music is still sparking amazing :)
I feel the exact same, with Maktha Wildwood being the only good one. Erythia sea is also good, but I wish those Islands got their own areas, as some of them are better than the actual areas
There are good "magical-looking" places in the game, they're just hidden in the game for you to discover them, I remeber one in Maktha and Erythia, there are some places that remeber me of Satorl marsh and Uraya in XC2, but I have to agree that locations were better in XC1 and XC2, but that dosen't make XC3 locations bad for me perosnally, but I understand what you are saying
the world of xc3 is a giant warzone so it makes sense for it to have fewer beautiful and standout locations. there are some really nice locations in xc3 hidden around the map, mostly in places untouched by the conflict like the lost colony

The Xenoblade music is just so good. It's why I got interested in the series initially. Now I use it to study!
If I got to choose which nation to join between Kevas and Agnus, I’m definitely choosing Agnus! I just prefer the world from Xc2 more then 1 honestly
