Yeah I can definitely see tiers of early access. 1 day for preorder, 3 for 10€, 2 weeks for 30€. Look at Netflix and other businesses. It used to be 5€ for everything, now that sum gets you ads and 20€ gives you all benefits. Consumers need to stop buying before it becomes worse.
LIS thing seemed a little bit weird, 2 week early access, but it looked to be limited to chapter 1 and 2 - not sure if that is the whole game or not.
I don't like the idea that people can pay extra to finish a game before others can even start it, then it's all over the internet
Could backfire for some games - say 2 weeks early access and it looks terrible or glitchy, and then no one bothers to buy it.
The only game I had early access for Hogwarts Legacy, but I didn't get it for that, I pre-ordered it on deluxe and wanted the extra in-game content
I never fomo for any games. I'm happy to wait for any games to release.
I’m tired of a lot of modern gaming trends. Glad I just play games when I get to them. I’m in no rush and have plenty of backlog. Not to mention I buy physical unless there isn’t any other option so early access is a non-issue to me

Dragon Age is my game of the fall. I've been waiting ten years for it but I will not pay extra to play a few days earlier.
Never seen a content creator who got the game early say they dislike the game. It's like they wanna stay on the PR list so they won't stay any thing bad about the game "cough Theradbrad cough hollow"

I don't like it. Everyone should be able to experience games launching on day 1 for all platforms. It's like treating less wealthy people as non VIPs at the party. Or like that episode in Friends where 3 of them are rich and the other 3 are not.
I think the early access thing is the least egregious thing. You can literally wait out till release and nothing will change. Unless it's a multiplayer, like World of Warcraft, where you get an advantage by paying to play earlier by getting better gear or selling stuff on the AH first
Lets hope the EU makes a law about this. I hate the EU but this is something I see them do something about.
You know what's the biggest problem with this (that I'm afraid of)? Spoilers. I know I will buy the game when it comes out, or when I have the money, or whenever I want to. Now, if the whole story of the game get out via a reviewer, that removes the chance of another person to experience the game blind.
