BTS is a group of 7 (now) men who debuted in 2013. Each one is extraordinarily talented. They all have a “specialty”, some sing, some rap, they all dance. They write and produce much of their own music. The words in those songs is something else. Lots of positivity, very much about learning to love yourself and sometimes they throw in a bit of snark too. BTS is said to be as big as The Beatles!. They have the awards to prove it. These guys are the Best Role Model for young generations.... they are talented: superb singers, great dancers, the lyrics have meaning and great messages. They are humble and they work Hard... really really hard! There's actually a site where you can take a 25 minute quiz about listing all BTS songs you remembered. I just tried it today and I managed to name 308 BTS songs in under 25 minutes. Maybe I can even name 350 songs if given enough time.
Hi Victor, I’m a Romanian living in UK as well, and I’ve been an ARMY since 2015. BTS is a whole experience: music, lyrics, dance, style…The way they are impacting people’s lives for the better. Also, they do have deep meaning to most of their songs, so I do hope you will take the time to read the lyrics and understand each song better. Enjoy the journey!
If you watch the Taylor Mari guide, you don’t need to turn on subs. Also, Korea counted age differently, so when they say their age, they are really 1-2 years younger. Korean names are last name first, so Kim is a surname, and it’s common so three members last name is Kim, they are not brothers, even though they call each other brother :) Korea is a hierarchical culture, so when they speak to each other, they add honorific, like Hyung added after a name means they are speaking to someone older. Just stuff I wish I’d known right away. Only one is fluent in English but they are all learning very well. Thanks for the nice reaction.
I would add, pay attention to the year each video or song was released. They have been releasing music since 2013 so there has been lots of growth and change in what they do. When you react to older stuff they look incredibly young because they were 15 to 20 years old when they debuted. Now they are 27 to 32.

The guy that sang the solo part is Jung Kook, the Main Vocalist of the group since 2013. RM is the Leader and Main Rapper. He's the one that stood in front of the straight line of people first. First rap in the song. Now, that said, while he is the leader, all 7 of them take center stage and have parts in each song. Yes, they have solos as well, particularly since they started their mandatory military service in South Korea. Two members are already out (and Jin just released his first solo album "Happy"). Even though the others are still in military, they have surprised us with new songs and/or albums that they recorded before they enlisted. BTS also have Dance Practice videos and sometimes behind scenes or making of videos which can be found on the BANGTAN TV channel. The MV's are on the HYBE Labels channel under BTS, which their original label BigHit falls under. Be careful of copycat channels that sometimes say "official" mv, but they are NOT official MV's (e.g., BigHot channel). Taylor Mari is the channel that has the BTS Intro video they are recommending. It is current through May 2022, and a LOT has happened since then. Still, it is a pretty good introduction to the members of BTS. There is also an introduction to BTS' discography by a channel called "boracity magazine" that might interest you. I don't believe it includes all the solo works since 2022 because the video is a year old as well. Anyway, enjoy and don't hesitate to ask us, ARMY, any questions.

I like the moon tattoos he has on his back. They are the phase of the moon on the days each member was born. Very beautiful. Unfortunately, we don't get to see them often.

He added the others 4 only because Tae showed him fan art of Jimin that had the phases down his back and he liked it. He told us so himself in a Weverse live.
OT7 here. No leader like you think. There is a leader who is responsible for leading interviews and as go between members and the record label. Jungkook is the center so he often is responsible multiple parts. They have leads on different songs. There are songs for rap line, vocal line and dance line, as well as solo songs in addition to solo projects.
BTS has group projects, solos within group projects, collaborations, solo projects etc...and more!!!!! Debuted since 2013 so their discography is massive! Each member is strong on their own and stronger together. Super versatile and extremely talented. That's just in their songs/music which is just ONE of the many layers to who BTS is as musicians/artists and individuals. 💜
The face tattoo you saw is fake, sometimes they use these for fashion. Jungkook's sleeve is real, and Jimin has some that were hidden until they went into hiatus. Speaking of fashion, Jimin, dressed in white with the blue-ish hair, split his pants at the upper thigh during the vigorous dancing near the end. Those pants cost $5,800!! RM is the leader, he is the man who rapped near the beginning, in black. An extremely intelligent man, he has written most lyrics and has a very hard job. Suga raps and produces, J-Hope is the dance leader. The singer with the beautiful voice in the middle is Jungkook (JK) who is on his way toward being one of the greatest pop stars in the world. Never think the MV is over, it isn't always. You should see them do this live on The Jimmy Fallon Show taped at Grand Central Station in NYC. It's even more amazing because it's live and they don't miss a note or beat or step. The first rapper, RM, is the leader of BTS. My absolute favorite is Jeon Kook, the yoingest member , he was 13 when the group started. His voice is phenomenal, hhe can really get high, can sing anything, his dancing is off the charts. Jungkook is main vocalist (fills in if others can't perform), makes all the song guides (even when members are creating solo works), sub rapper, lead dancer and centre (starting position in many of their stage performances). V is a vocalist and became one of the dance line as lead dancer in 2018 after he showed how good his dancing had become. Jimin is a main dancer and lead vocalist.
Of course they can all sing, rap, dance, produce, compose and write lyrics but their titles reflect their main purpose in the group.

Jimin is an angel
The guy that sang the solo part is Jung Kook, the Main Vocalist of the group since 2013. RM is the Leader and Main Rapper. He's the one that stood in front of the straight line of people first. First rap in the song. Now, that said, while he is the leader, all 7 of them take center stage and have parts in each song. Yes, they have solos as well, particularly since they started their mandatory military service in South Korea. Two members are already out (and Jin just released his first solo album "Happy"). Even though the others are still in military, they have surprised us with new songs and/or albums that they recorded before they enlisted.
BTS also have Dance Practice videos and sometimes behind scenes or making of videos which can be found on the BANGTAN TV channel. The MV's are on the HYBE Labels channel under BTS, which their original label BigHit falls under. Be careful of copycat channels that sometimes say "official" mv, but they are NOT official MV's (e.g., BigHot channel).
Taylor Mari is the channel that has the BTS Intro video they are recommending. It is current through May 2022, and a LOT has happened since then. Still, it is a pretty good introduction to the members of BTS. There is also an introduction to BTS' discography by a channel called "boracity magazine" that might interest you. I don't believe it includes all the solo works since 2022 because the video is a year old as well. Anyway, enjoy and don't hesitate to ask us, ARMY, any questions.

He added the others 4 only because Tae showed him fan art of Jimin that had the phases down his back and he liked it. He told us so himself in a Weverse live.

OT7 here. No leader like you think. There is a leader who is responsible for leading interviews and as go between members and the record label. Jungkook is the center so he often is responsible multiple parts. They have leads on different songs. There are songs for rap line, vocal line and dance line, as well as solo songs in addition to solo projects.
The one who sang the high part was JUNGKOOK. He is the main vocalist, center and the youngest member. One of his solo songs is "Standing next to you".
BTS has group projects, solos within group projects, collaborations, solo projects etc...and more!!!!! Debuted since 2013 so their discography is massive! Each member is strong on their own and stronger together. Super versatile and extremely talented. That's just in their songs/music which is just ONE of the many layers to who BTS is as musicians/artists and individuals. 💜
The face tattoo you saw is fake, sometimes they use these for fashion. Jungkook's sleeve is real, and Jimin has some that were hidden until they went into hiatus.
Speaking of fashion, Jimin, dressed in white with the blue-ish hair, split his pants at the upper thigh during the vigorous dancing near the end. Those pants cost $5,800!!
RM is the leader, he is the man who rapped near the beginning, in black. An extremely intelligent man, he has written most lyrics and has a very hard job. Suga raps and produces, J-Hope is the dance leader. The singer with the beautiful voice in the middle is Jungkook (JK) who is on his way toward being one of the greatest pop stars in the world. They all had to go do 18 months of military service, and will be back together in June.

All of them have done solo work while they have been completing their mandatory military service. It's interesting to see how widely varied they are as solo artists and then they come together into the powerhouse group that we love.

It's even more amazing because it's live and they don't miss a note or beat or step. The first rapper, RM, is the leader of BTS. Namjoon is the leader also one of the rappers the one who went up so high is jungkook. There’s a rap line regular vocals and dance line but the leader is again Namjoon. You should react to Fire. RM is the oldest,considered the he's The Rap Monster, then J-Hope a rappers with jacket you liked. Then Surga, another rappers, he has another ID, forget that name. He's a fast rapper, really good. Then Jimin, singers, dancers, he starts the singing, blond Hair at the moment. Then V- he has a fake face tattoo for the video. Then Jin, he as a high voice good dancer. My absolute favorite is Jeon Kook, the yoingest member , he was 13 when the group started. His voice is phenomenal, hhe can really get high, can sing anything, his dancing is off the charts. I'm so happy to be part of ARMY and I'm over the hill and love their band and all their solo music. Check out all their solo works, all is wonderful.
