Great review, you should consider the Sugess Moonphase, I had it for a year almost and it's amazing. The Aventurine dial is great, great lume, big date, and wears pretty well considering it is a bit chunky, the only negative is the 19mm strap size. Is bigger than the Saxonia moonphase

Dont feel bad about buying a homage of a CW. CW have just outright copied the Nodex clasp from the smaller microbrand Nodus on their latest dive watch (the one with raised lume blocks), its not the first time they pulled this stunt on another micro brand. I understand peoples reservations about homage watches, but where CW bully boys are concerned I say go for it!
I was told this one is not a true moon phase that is based on 29.5 day like the seagull movement in the Suguess. Now I'm wondering if I was miss informed.
They sent me this watch. It's garbage. The moonphase is on a disconnected date wheel. Wrong measure. The moon goes out of sync within days. It's not on a 59 tooth cog. No point. Just aesthetic. The epitome of what we hate as watch enthusiasts.
Nothing about this video makes sense. The argument to buy this is justified with „to know before what you order before you actual buy the watch“. Taking the car analogy, this is so dumb like the wish of buying a bmw coupe and test driving a tata nano in same color. You burn 200 bucks for a copy which 1) has a complete other case than the original (so the wear point is crap as well) 2) does not have the date ring because it is tighten „to the moon dial“ 2.5/3. pretend having a moon complication but actually doesn‘t besides the look with no added module 😂(4) it doesnt seem to have the detail moon print too but thats only what i see in the clip). So for who is that watch? for people who wanna have a nice steel bracelett for 200 bucks if they are at least smart enough to choose this option instead of a stiff leather strap

That being said, it seems like you’ve never purchased a high-quality product and regretted buying it. I have, I bought a Tudor Black bay 58 and hated it. Looked great in the AD, even had a great honeymoon period, until I realized the proportions didn’t fit my wrist right, the bracelet wasn’t as comfortable as I thought, and then it sat almost never to be worn again. That’s the justification to buy an homage first. Period. I never said it was exactly the same thing. What I argue is, it’ll get you a “basic feel” for the watch then if you like it, get the original. Trust me, I’ve handled enough Watches to know this is a fact, not an opinion
@@allthingsrandom8137 You are right, I never bought an expensive watch which I regretted having it "after honey moon period", so I see the linkage you wanna do by "really test" driving something out by the cheap hommage. It just doesn't make any sense if the hommage doesn't fit similiar the original at all as I tried to explain. You cannot understand how your original is gonna work because you do not have the same morning routine as with the fake one, it fits completely different on your wrist because of complete different case size & you are eventually not as impressed as you are because of the appearence (i cannot compare here) because of lume and details. So all in all, I would buy the original watch after long concludes for "the basic feel" and can return it free charged back completely within a month by a good service like CW. If you need over a month, 2 years to decide or just like the bling for nothing, that's your deal of course
