My car never made this noise before. Every time I accelerate or decelerate, it sounds like a motor spinning but now it’s loud enough to be heard over the music. Sounds like a high revving motor. New car with 15k miles. Just started making this sound 1 day ago
2023 Model S - humming/buzzing sound when parked in a garage at ambient 65-70F. It is constant whether charging or not charging. It occurs even with sentry mode/cabin overtemp protection off. No standby/summon feature in my car. No 3rd party apps, not even checking my Tesla app. Soft and hard resets do not stop the humming. This leads to about 1 mile range loss per hour while parked, so overnight 10 hrs I lose 10 miles of range. Energy app attributes this to "vehicle standby." This can't be normal when ambient temp is 65-70F?
@@explicitdreamz9835 Took it to tesla service center. techs ran some diagnostics over 4 days. found nothing wrong. says its the cooling pump, "normal" - car still makes the noise, stil losing 3% charge overnight parked in a garage.
Is the pedestrian sound supposed to happen on a freeway going 50-70mph? I have a sound, always from the back left tire/motor area when going different speeds, but never when a person is around (side roads) and it doesn’t sound like the reverse/pedestrian sound. It’s not a high pitch noise like I hear complaints about on the Y. It’s like a whirring/low pitch pulsating sound. It lasts for about 10-15 seconds. I’ve changed tires, etc… still makes the noise, randomly. I have a MY22 S LR.
My model S has started a fan or humming noise that is ALWAYS going when parked. It goes all night and through the day while parked. It never did this before. Is this due to an update?
Also don’t forget the drivetrain sound, I have a 2017 X that makes a noticeable sound when I accelerate. Sounds like when you’re inside an electric train and it accelerates. (Think SF BART)
My new MY makes a noise I've never heard in previous Teslas I've owned. Its hard to describe in a comment section but its like a Fridge noise. Like a pulsating buzzing sound.
HI, MY MODEL Y , 2020, LONG RANGE is making creaking noise during acceleration ( from stop)😊 with rear seats fully occupied… I don’t know if the noise is from Tail gate trim or suspension…
I HATED that pedestrian warning on my 2021 Model Y. It sounds like something is wrong with the car. I disconnected mine. I test drove the all electric Cadillac Lyriq. It is a wonderful vehicle but the pedestrian warning is on ALL THE TIME that you are 25 MPH or less. I bought my EV's for the silence ... not to make noise. I want to order the Model S Plaid. How annoying is the humming on it?
My 2022 M3LR starting making a constant buzzing noise in/ behind the dashboard … is that normal or is it the cabin temperature sensor going bad? That’s what I found it could be on the web …
same issue with 1 week old 2024 M3P. - constant low humming sound (like crickets at a far distance). It never stops day or night that i can tell. Parks in garage at 65F avg temp. Strange because the 2020 M3P we had was always quiet after an hour or so of charging or driving. Absolutely love the car though otherwise - just somewhat concerned about this noise. Will schedule a service call.
@@EzdineGaray I realized I had Sentry on even at home, and by setting it to not be on at this location the 24x7 stopped, except if I enter the garage with my cell phone and the Tesla app open. Service center stated this is the "new normal" for this awesome machine. Love this car though.
My 2024 make fan flow noise even when it is in parking mode when the weather is hot, once I turn off cabin overheat protection on climate control the noise goes away, but it is on your own risk.

i am hearing a low humming sound constant 24/7. It gets louder when the battery prepares to supercharge.
@@weho_brian Same thing model Y 2023. From what I've read it is the heat pump cooling system making constant noise. We need to stand up to Tesla
Did you solve this?) my car has the same issue

My 2017 model S never did this but over the last couple months it has a constant humming nose when parked. 24/7.

did you have any problems from this sound or was it deemed as normal.
