It’s crazy how one of the dopest female rappers of this generation is a Christian rapper and is killin the game on Reach Records 🔥
What makes someone a Christian rapper? If they don’t swear? If they don’t talk about sex, money, and drugs? If they reference romans 1:16? Even demons know the Bible, Pharisees loved the law. It’s interesting to see the low standards we’ve drawn in between Christian and non Christian. You don’t swear, okay you’re a Christian. You swear, okay you’re a non Christian. Preach, rap, Christ crucified for our sins and how we must repent and then we should be able to say, that’s a Christian rapper.
I always say this to church people who have a problem with Christian rap. If rappers can rap about how many chicks that can smash how much weight they can sell or how many cars they can buy, they can put that same lyrical creativity and rap about salvation and Grace biblically there's nothing wrong with that.

A Notes Got Flame I’ don’t have a problem with this music. All I’m asking is, why is the standard so low. Why do we call this Christian rap just because it references biblical things? Mormons now call themselves Christians. The prosperity gospel preaches Christ and they are mislead. I just don’t get why it’s so easy for us to label someone a Christian rapper because they mention God in their songs.

I remember when, not too long ago, Id be the one coming on here criticising the dance moves and being all like yall aint holy etc. Im so glad God humbled me and allowed me to see people are all on different levels when it comes to their salvation deliverances and ministries. We dont have to walk around like were amish......we dont have to wear flats instead of heels,we dont have to only clap our hands and not dance,we dont have to wear no makeup we dont have to alot of things yet work towards being closer to Jesus and as we get closer to Jesus the sin in our life will be there for us to see and allow God to change us.

That kaitland was trying to not put others down. A year later I probably agree with you. I haven’t listened to this song in over a year so I can’t remember. But I appreciate your feedback. I'm not sure I've ever truly been excited finding an artist before, until Wande. Wande's music is everything. The lyrics are so deep and filled with showing the standard of Jesus in her life - and, she's always got that BEAT! Wande is my heart. Unapologetically for the Lord and willing to speak up. I also love her wardrobe choices and dance moves. She always lookin' GOOD while maintaining modesty, she has definitely got those moves, without being inappropriate. I am just all for her and when I hear her music, I can feel it in my bones that this was God's call on her life. I love supporting her because she is on that Mission and always delivers! I do wish I could buy her songs individually too, though. I like making my own CD's for my car, lol.
