These are a great find and well priced - I have personally used a pair for more than a month and they still are like new. You can buy them at Walmart or online. I prefer #KPLD03/KPD09 - Natural or #2 natural or #3 dramatic natural

I moved from a "Kiss" #02 to #03 with a bit more of a va va voom factor both in the lashes and at the base so no need for liner for an everyday look.
Saw the sweet tribute on the back of the mirror. I teared up. Andrea will never be forgotten. She is a very special young lady. Loved the tips on the lashes and liner!
Thank you so much Sharon La Tour ❤️
I LOVE the idea of putting the glue on the lah line first!
New subscriber. I just binge-watched your 4 Great Cornerstones of Makeup and several of your personal improvement videos. I'm loving your personality and great sense of humor. Keep up the good work and thank you ever so much for the fantastic tips for those of us who are no longer 20-somethings! Look forward to seeing more!
***** Thanks so much for taking the time to say so. Glad you like. :)
OMG Sharon...I think this is probably my favorite video that you've done. I so agree about mascara on old eyes...I'm out of town but when I get back it's falsies for me !!!
***** Thank you so much for your agreement about the mascara and our "eh hem" more delicate lashes. Whenever I wear mascara for about a week I loose a certain section of lash on my L eye and the rest don't do so well either. As long as I wear faux lashes, my own lashes stay in pretty good shape. Thanks again Patti for your shout out - it was much appreciated. And let me know how the lashes work out for you.
Another wonderfully informative video! I'm 54 and have never worn false lashes in my life, but I totally get what you're saying about how our lashes change/diminish as we age. I'm allergic to latex, so I'm glad to know that when the time comes for me to wear lashes, I'll need to get the latex-free glue. Thank you so much! ♥
Lu G You are so welcome. In fact, I'm going to be doing some videos on the senior senior femme fetale (70s, 80s and onward) because most women begin to have trouble with allergies, weeping eyes, etc. However, its just a matter of making adjustments to get the end result we're looking for.
I have been trying to keep up with the winged eyeliner trend but I don't think it suites me as I have hooded eyes. The liner on the inside I think will work much better for me. Thanks again.
Yes, on the water rim or "inside" is much better for the "Lauren Becall" eye. And IMO a lot of the "winged liner" trend is not that attractive. When your makeup becomes the focal point rather than you - well its simply out of balance. But that's what trends are all about. And trends are just a way for the beauty industry to sell lots and lots of product.
Awesome video Sharon and in total agreement with you about lashes. Have worn lashes for decades, even in college. Amazing how quickly you can appear alert even with just 3 hours of sleep ;) I did a couple of videos on lash application and did use the Duo latex. I tried the non latex and also found it difficult to remove. For me it sort of defeated the purpose of using lashes in lieu of mascara. My favorites have always been the Ardell 110 but now must give the 02 Kiss a try. Thank you!
***** Thanks Janice. What I also love about the kiss is they get more natural looking as they get worn. Let me know how they work for you.
Nobel Beauty Prize nomination for the brush on glue with a wand! You are going to get me lashed up yet! Thank you so much for your teaching.
+Paula White ha ha ha ha. You're so welcome.
This is a great video. I finally went out bought my false eyelashes. Today is my first day, and although not perfect they turned out better than I thought. I can't believe how nice my lashes look. Even on my first try. Thanks for the great videos! Your videos are the best I've found for women over 50!
Thank you Susan - so glad you are having fun with the lashes - and believe me, the more you practice the easier and faster it will get. Please spread the word with your friends to subscribe. I'm not sponsored in any way so rely on word of mouth. And you are right there isn't any bone fide professional I know of in this age range doing videos on this caliber of information.
A lot of my friends on Facebook are baby boomers like me, so I promoted your RUclips channel on my timeline.
Excellent - many thanks.
Oh thank you so much for doing this. I see everyone with lashes and mine are so blah, now I have the correct information.
Hi girl, LOVE your channel! I'm 42. =) The Revlon eyelash glue is horrible, never buy it, it dosent stick very well and its a nightmare to get off your eyes when you take your eyelashes off. I made the mistake of buying it a few months ago. The best eyelash glue I have bought (and still currently use) is KISS extra strong. this one rocks. I love the tip of painting the glue on first, I'm going to try this tomorrow. =)
Sharon that was amazing now I get it more been playing around with them over the summer now I see what I am not doing right. Love the kiss ones as you mentioned. I do not like using the mascara either. Your right to hard on our lashes. Thank you for sharing more with us.
Pamela Caldwell YW Pamela. So glad its working for you. Persistence really does pay off.
Love this tutorial Sharon......I have tried lashes a few times, but I was not succcessful. I have learned so much while watching this video, you gave us some great tips here. Thank you for sharing and take care.
Hunnie B You are most welcome.
You explain great....Draw it on.. like that..getting your makeup at Sallys. you have wonderful tips.. Love you Barbie...
TY Barbie
Thank you very much, really love the idea. Yes lashes only, and the drawing on the glue wonderful. God Bless
Sylvia McDonald YW
Yes, you are right....it is an expense & a pain but there is no way around it.Many thanks again.....
WOW ... This is GREAT!!! thanks ...
Glad you like Kim Chatwin-Smith
this is great thanks Sharon!

Sharon, thank you so much for this!!! Lashes are a challenge for me and I will try your method next time. And I especially love the mirror
ivyleagueink YW. Let me know how it works for you.
Great video, like always! I learn soooo much with you!!!
Sara Nemoy Thanks - your welcome.
You are such a fascinating woman! Your eyes look beautiful, Love the lips and the tips. Blessings.......MaryEllen
Sensational After 60 Thank you so much for your very kind words. Blessings to you too. Sharon
Sharon, what if it gets messed up during application? How difficult is it to do over? Also, are all the lashes in black only? Does black look good on everyone? Thanks for all you do, Sharon! You're an amazing woman!
janet marshall Well if it gets messed up, then it has to be fixed, but if you follow the steps and practice till you are really comfortable, I doubt very much it will happen. Most lashes come in black but the more spread out they are the softer they look and look good on everyone. The closer together the hairs are the blacker and heavier they look of course. And thank you, appreciate your kind words.
twominutetips Thanks. I'm gonna give them a try! I'm really sick of mascara and the flaking off, smudging, general messiness!
janet marshall Let me know how it works for you. AND while you are honing your skill I suggest you use either Ardell or Duo waterproof clear as these are the easiest to clean up. You just pull the glue off simply and there is never any that is left of the lid.
So helpful.
I've been practicing with the false lashes. I'm really uncoordinated. Hopefully the method of applying the glue like an eyeliner will help! What kind of gel eyeliner are you using on the upper water line. I love the look but mine tends to transfer. I saw the writing on the back of your mirror, nice tribute.
ynnep72 I used a private label gel in this instances as its my own kit, but mostly use MAC & Bobby Brown in my professional kit. You also have to allow for some drying time. Yes, and the mirror - I didn't realize I was using her mirror until after. It did turn out to be a sweet little piece of her in the video didn't it? :)
Yes, very sweet. Happy Thanksgiving!
ynnep72 Right back atcha.
I love your makeup videos. I need the tips bad! lol
Berryvox Thank you - you are so welcome.
Hello Again Sharon :) before I order the glue do you think vaseline would take both of them off? I like the visual of the ease for the one with the brush. I too love Vaseline and use it nightly as a moisturizer on my face, hands and feet (:
Thanks Dee Anne - No need for anything with the latex glue and cleaning off the false lash is still better to use alcohol. I never touch the latex free anymore, but I would imagine vaseline may help.
Great! so natural
+sharon cole TY
Thank you! You have been a lot of help.
mhoward48 That's great.
Great tips. Have never seen this method before and look forward to it. My eyes are extremely sensitive to products and cannot use any kind of oils to remove my makeup. Do you know of any oil free product that would remove the glue?
Barbara Angele Sorry, not really as my main focus is makeup and hairstyling, not skin care. However, Paula Begoun is a wonderful skin care guru - well researched and great products. So if you use the latex glue you won't need anything special to remove the glue as it just peels off.
At 55 I am just now experimenting with false lashes. I never knew you could paint the glue on as eyeliner so to speak. I have been using magnetic liner and lashes which is going on except I can only find black magnetic liner.
Oh dear Teresa Haven - I wouldn't recommend the magnetic lashes AT ALL. The ones I recommend are a good alternative. Think about it magnets that close to your eyeball - yikes.
@@twominutetips I DEFINITELY worry less about magnets close to my eye vs ANYTHING on the waterline. I actually discussed the magnetic lashes and liner with my opthamologist and eye surgeon. I actually found a non flaking eyeliner (of course NOTHING is totally non flaking). I am still honestly experimenting, I haven't worn anything away from the house yet.
Teresa Haven well at least you are working in conjunction with your doctor
Great method, never seen anyone do it like this. What kind of brush do you use for your gel eyeliner inside the rim?
Natalie Drapeau TY. Its a simple tiny dome brush, but a flat edged angle or eyeliner brush would work equally as well.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. CANNOT WAIT TO TRY YOUR TIPS (JUST DISCOVERED YOU)
Sharon, I'm embarrassed to ask this. . . but do you adhere the false lashes to your own lashes or directly to the end of the eyelid? I've always worn waterproof mascara because my eyes are very weepy (sensitive to sunlight, makeup, etc.) Would like to give this a go. As always great video, with "multiple" tips. Thank you.
Barbara Welsh Please don't be embarrassed - there are no silly questions. I adhere the lashes to the eyelid directly above the base where my own the lashes grow from. And often times the glue spreads ever so slightly onto the lashes from the base and that's good too. Just helps to adhere a little better.
So can you draw any kind of glue on your lid? Or just the non latex? I am confused.
You can use any of your preferred glue with this method Debra Trimble. It will take a little experimenting on your part for your particular eye, but it should work just fine.
Sharon, what gel liner do you use and does it transfer to the bottom waterline?
Great video. Thank you.
Thanks
Very, very nice. Which gel liner did you use? I assume it's fairly waterproof.
Beth Lincoln Thanks Beth. I used a private label gel liner but often use MAC's Fluidline and yes gel liners are substantially waterproof.
Great video! Do u think it is better to put lashes on first and then the rest of your eye makeup or other way around ? Thank you. Xo
+Tom nash Thank you. Actually either way works. But currently I prefer to put on a powdered liner so as to really push it in and then add the eyeshadowing over it afterward.
Hi Sharon . Have viewed this often and still having problems. As I wear glasses almost all lashes bump into them. Cannot seem to find Kiss #2Lashes anywhere....are they shorter? Help!
You look so good ! I just recently started following you. What kind if Gel eye liner do you use? I'm 54, wear contacts, so looking for something I can use withe contacts. thx. :) I might have to try the false lashes when going out, but probably not for everyday work wear. ;)
+918lh H Thanks so much. I use Bobby Brown or MAC Fluidline gel liners. And I wear false lashes always - much faster, more effective easier on your own lashes than mascara. It just takes a learning curve, but well worth IMO
Fantastic tips. Thank you! :)
YW
I have tried 4 different glues, all of which I am allergic. Do you have one you recommend?
Carrinn Taylor try the non-lattes glues - Revlon sells one
LASHES, LIPS AND BROWS....YES!
I've been having some trouble putting on my false eyelashes. I have small eyes and I have to trim them but I still can't get them on right. Any advice? I can't find the Kiss lashes here..
+shirley rondon If you join me on facebook.com/groups/goingray.lovinit I can help you there more readily. After you join, please post a picture of your lashes and when one of you having applied them and I can help you from there.
Question for you. I have very dry crepe-y lids. What is your opinion of cream shadow blended thoroughly?
Thanks Teresa Haven - I am against any cream or liquid because it simply does NOT perform well for longevity.
@@twominutetips I never knew that. I had assumed it would wear as well as foundation, lol!!!
You are absolutely beautiful!
+Renee Biddiscombe Thank you but its simply good tools, product and know-how.
Please give link for grey to blond/ white hair for brows.
I don't recommend going from gray to blonde and I'm not sure what you mean by white hair for brows.
@@twominutetips - I am mixed blond going grey hair. If I use a blond- even the lightest ( tried them all) I get a gold tone. My blond is platinum with grayish white in front growing out. I highlight my hair with Platinum so the grey blends together.
I have a big problem...There are manymany products which I cannot use because it brings out Blephoritis, many things can start if off & especially ingredients in eye make-up. It is a very sore, inflamed eye condition & can take weeks to get rid of once it has started.
I can only use Clinique eye pencils & mascara.....Or, do you know of any other makes which give consideration to sensitive eyes please ?
J.V. Swailes. Thanks for the question. Many companies will claim all kinds of things. I believe cosmetics don't have to be FDA approved. I would check with your dermatologist as "skin care" is not my forte. Find out what the ingredients are that irritate you first and keep a listing to check against products. And you can do this right on line. Also find out what's in Clinique because they work for you and compare the ingredients with anything else you want to try.
twominutetips When I am able Iwill do as you kindly suggest...at the moment I live deep in the French countryside(my choice!) & it is difficult to get into a town to find a dermatologist, it has to be done at a hospital. I have no idea how to do it on line!!!
The dermatologist in UK who diagnosed Blephoritis told me that nothing can be done about it...it is like having any other allergy, it just has to be managed & I'm afraid it is hit & miss with make-up, there is such a vast range these days I do not have the time to investigate each & every one. I dread to think what the glue for false eyelashes would do to me !!!
Thank you so much for your advise.
J.V. Swailes. Well if you are allergy prone then I would think one of the latex free glues would work best. But again, that's not true for everyone. I find the Duo regular and latex free is pretty good for most people. I'm afraid its a trial and error situation for each person. My sister, as an example is bothered by both glues, yet I've not heard of one problem from any clients. Sorry I can't be of more help, but it truly is a trial an error approach each person who is prone to allergies has to take. However, it sounds like you have some products that are working well for you.
wow beautiful !
TY
The www.kissusa.com/lashes/ever_ez...link reaches am error page. Do you have the link to n, 02 & n. 03 eyelashes? tks
+sharon cole Thanks for the heads up - try this link and its also in the description box under the video. www.walgreens.com/store/c/kiss-her-by-kiss-ever-pro-eyelashes-02/ID=prod6095950-product
I watched your make over for 70 year old women. If you're in your 70's should you skip the lashes?
+shirley rondon Nope - not if they are natural looking. I'm 69 and only wear false lashes with my makeup. Faster, easier and more effective.
V
You would look away better in shorter, blonde bob.
Magdalena Bylica Thank you for your opinion, but there is NO WAY I'm dying my hair. I love the naturalness of what God gave me and the ease and no cost upkeep. As for length, well many of us look good in a variety of lengths and right now I'm enjoying the longer length. I had a bob throughout my business career. Time for a change.
Thanks for your answer. It was just my thought, that you would look better in warmer shade, and little shorter hair.
Anyway you're looking really great. All the best
Magdalena Bylica Thank you and appreciate your feedback. And as this is a demo for lashes only, not all my makeup is on which is probably why you feel I need some "warming up" so to speak.
