It was a fun game for years. Then it was an awful game for years and we kept playing anyway. Now it’s over. Had so many good times in Apex but it’s time to move on.
How? They banned hundreds of cheaters last split season alone. They literally tell you how many hackers they stopped, but that doesnt stop new hackers from arriving, old hacker making alternate accounts, and accounts that are being falsely accused of cheating because the one who died got butthurt that he got one-clipped. There’s many other things to take care of, like the AFK’ers, the ones that talk shit when they die and leave the game, the Sabotagers. And the constant crying of “supporters” always asking for a nerf or a buff to literally anything and everything!

Why all y’all so stuck up on a battle pass? Theres nothing useful, not one thing useful. I got all legendary skins from passes, yet dont use em cuz i got better ones. Badges, useless. Packs and charms, useless. The reactives, i got them all applied and get more than 5 kills every other game, yet never pay attention to the reactivity. And i could live without the trackers. Dude theres gonna be free passes. Stop being a battle pass grinding fiend.

I stopped playing almost a year and half now. I played religiously, never ranked, always with randoms and bought every BP. I'm the kind of player Apex needs, but they don't GAF about players like us. Same for the other AAA shooters. I stopped play COD & Battlefield 2 years ago. Moved on to more indie shooters that are just more fun overall. Playing Battlebit Remastered, BODYCAM and recently started Path of Exile for something different.
Fortnite is fun. I was heavy into Apex and CoD but both got real dumb. FN is not a kids game, it takes a lot of skills once you get matched with other good player. Its super fun and awesome collabs.
Apex doesnt need you if you never played ranked, never with friends, and “buys” (but basically got it for free) every pass even if theyre trash, and dont spend a dime. They dont get paid by your playtime. They get paid by micro transactions. Its donations from us to them for letting us enjoy a free game. Dont make apex depend on putting ads if you dont donate once in a while.

Since last Friday we can’t even play the game in Florida anymore. Our closest server is South Carolina and since last Friday every other game is 140 ping and 20 packet loss. This has not been talked about at all and it’s sad. It’s over for us Florida ps5 guys

This is a very strategic thing to announce battle pass months away from new season, by that time people would not care so much and will focus on new season and then it's back to normal.
They wont even realize that i am not playing. I haven't been playing for weeks and played only like a couple of weeks. I play when i want, which is no a lot. But i don't need to buy anything anymore, as i have tons of skins. I can now take it more easy and play the game without the baggage of having to finish the battle pass. The next season i will definitely play, if the new map comes out and the battle pass is free.
I realized they were clamping down on low spending players when they made collection event skins only purchasable with apex coins. Usually having the battlepass I was able to get 1 or 2 per event between crafting metals and coins, and I’d typically have to buy the next battlepass anyways at that point. $10 a season really isn’t bad for a game that’s near 6 years old at this point, but the stockholders got too greedy. Vote w ur wallet people, that’s the only language these suits understand.
Besides the obvious, what I would love to see is a return of arena's mode, make control mode and tdm into there own individual playlists, then add legend badges for number of wins for both those modes. I run the max win badges for br, arenas, and would grind them for the badges as well.
Apex has only gotten away with the cheaters,unwanted changes, removal of duos, etc because there’s nothing like it out there to take its place unfortunately. Please just give us back duos EA.
Apex found the sauce, they did this a few seasons ago. They cause tension in the community and then drop an updage with a bunch of basic quality of life changes. Now they created drama with the BP? There prob gonna give players some new feature like Akimbo or universal kill trackers😂 and give a map and everyone in the mother is gonna play again and the cycle continues😂😂
I feel like even if we boycott the game to try to change their course, they wouldn’t care and just turn off the servers if there isn’t high enough profit for them anymore.

The battle pass doubles and even quadruples what we got originally which to me is a win. The only thing i disagree with is how they havent upgraded their cheating problem yet while focusing instead on profiting off players. If the game was in a better position with the cheating, modding, and hacking situation then the community would recieve these changes a lot more positively. Its really dumb that they keep focusing on events and money making instead of the more important matters at hand.

Apex is one of the most team based battle royale games out right now. To make the game better there needs to be a way to improve the team play aspect of apex. Yes, the district map will change the playability of the game for suree but the main reason why people quit or fall off apex is because it is frustrating playing with teammates who are always out of sync and have contrasting play-styles that lead to terrible in game experiences. There needs to be a way to improve this area in apex or else the game will die slowly.
If they don't add the ability to use apex coins back then I'm done. I'm tired of gaming companies trying to milk their player base to compensate for loss of players. This is the second game I play to pull some greedy BS this week. I'd rather start on a new game then pay Respawn a single penny.
I have a feeling that the cheater issue is so out of hand that EA is going to get as much money out of Apex as they can before the game actually becomes unplayable and turns into a Team Fortress 2.
I'm honestly only playing right now because I haven't finished my battlepass but I think I see a long break from Apex ahead of me if they go through with these changes that are nothing but greedy for a game that is *already* heavily monetised and *already* makes plenty of money. Respawn and EA managed to create a game that could easily last through the years but they chose to shoot themselves in the foot. The situation is just confusing even if you look at it through the eye of it being a business. In the meantime I've been getting back into Team Fortress 2. Man...I forgot how fun sniping is in that game.

I play everything. Everything is fun and has its pros. Except solos. Solos is a total fail for a number of reasons. And i play in oregon server if i want predators and 4ks in my lobby (for a challenge) or i go to my secret server to literally get bot lobbies where 95% of the lobbies cant get 2ks. Its fucking sad. Theres no sbmm. It’s literally just the server you’re in.
this game was my favorite multiplayer game ever i left this game at season 11 and came back at this season i dont see anything bad but they changed it a lot i hope the next season will be better and like the previous seasons❤❤❤❤ I really love this game no cap🧢
The only reason I will hop onto the game this season is to complete whats left of the battlepass. Other than that I will join the strike of not playing the game for the next season. The new season looked good until the BP and them just ignoring the community.

Yesterday alone I was crashed and kicked several times, I’ve lost 240 Rp that could’ve went towards platinum! No matter how many times I look up a fix it always brings it up about PC. Ill be playing darkest dungeon 2. Tried playing apex this morning, played 2 games, both had teamers. 15000+ hours on this game, im done. Now all this battlepass rubbish.
Season 20 changes were neat, but the honestly probably made the game less newcomer/casual friendly. With the armor and crafting change. The game is 6 years old people naturally move on. This year we only got 2 refreshing game modes solos quads The gambling events Cheat companies cracked the krabby patty formula. Still no heavily pushed mode outside BR No new map or gun. It makes since why apex is losing grip.
Theyre testing the market with the new battle pass to see what they can get away with, its not even about apex. If it works, this will become a new standard for other games, same way fortnite popularized normal battle pass.
Played one ranked game this season the whole server died instantly played 3 casual games this season died by a hacker within two seconds of landing each time
I am done with Apex Legends/EA. Half the player base is using cheat and with the new cost of battlepass it doesn't make the game worth playing. And the servers are so bad, it's a joke to the community
Its a catch 22 when you say "Well don't buy it. We'll vote with our wallets" when youre at this stage of the games life. At this point it's not about "voting with a wallet". Your wallet is literally whats gonna keep apex even alive/on life support in the first place. Yes, the district map will change the playability of the game for suree but the main reason why people quit or fall off apex is because it is frustrating playing with teammates who are always out of sync and have contrasting play-styles that lead to terrible in game experiences. There needs to be a way to improve this area in apex or else the game will die slowly.

If they don't add the ability to use apex coins back then I'm done. I'm tired of gaming companies trying to milk their player base to compensate for loss of players. This is the second game I play to pull some greedy BS this week. I'd rather start on a new game then pay Respawn a single penny.
I have a feeling that the cheater issue is so out of hand that EA is going to get as much money out of Apex as they can before the game actually becomes unplayable and turns into a Team Fortress 2.

I'm honestly only playing right now because I haven't finished my battlepass but I think I see a long break from Apex ahead of me if they go through with these changes that are nothing but greedy for a game that is *already* heavily monetised and *already* makes plenty of money.
Respawn and EA managed to create a game that could easily last through the years but they chose to shoot themselves in the foot. The situation is just confusing even if you look at it through the eye of it being a business.
In the meantime I've been getting back into Team Fortress 2. Man...I forgot how fun sniping is in that game.

I've literally only played customs twice the last month. No pubs, no ranked, no mixtape. Game is in a ridiculous state.
I play everything. Everything is fun and has its pros. Except solos. Solos is a total fail for a number of reasons.
And i play in oregon server if i want predators and 4ks in my lobby (for a challenge) or i go to my secret server to literally get bot lobbies where 95% of the lobbies cant get 2ks.
Its fucking sad. Theres no sbmm. It’s literally just the server you’re in.
this game was my favorite multiplayer game ever i left this game at season 11 and came back at this season i dont see anything bad but they changed it a lot i hope the next season will be better and like the previous seasons❤❤❤❤

The only reason I will hop onto the game this season is to complete whats left of the battlepass. Other than that I will join the strike of not playing the game for the next season. The new season looked good until the BP and them just ignoring the community.

Why is everybody talking about the battle pass system and it’s stupid change and not about the crashing and constant kicking on ranked? Yesterday alone I was crashed and kicked several times, I’ve lost 240 Rp that could’ve went towards platinum! No matter how many times I look up a fix it always brings it up about PC. I don’t play on PC I play on XBOX! I’m really tired of this BS and it’s driving me away from the game, I’ve looked this up on Reddit and other people have had the same problem! Season 22 needs to fix this issue! Some people might spend money on Apex still but at the same time not play the game as much as they used to because of the constant crashing.

Theyre testing the market with the new battle pass to see what they can get away with, its not even about apex. If it works, this will become a new standard for other games, same way fortnite popularized normal battle pass.

Its a catch 22 when you say "Well don't buy it. We'll vote with our wallets" when youre at this stage of the games life. At this point it's not about "voting with a wallet".
Your wallet is literally whats gonna keep apex even alive/on life support in the first place. Just sucks that EA/respawn (yes they suck too shut up) also know this and instead of making a buncha small priced things available they're just dicking us down instead.
