- Cam Anthony grew up in North Philadelphia and turned to music as an escape from the violence and crime he faced in the city. He learned at an early age how to control his voice and honed his skills in the church choir. At age 11, Cam's life changed forever after a video of him singing a Bruno Mars song went viral. Cam was later invited to open for Patti LaBelle, sing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and even perform at the White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll. At age 12, Cam was signed by Dr. Dre. and spent the rest of his teen years recording and performing. His contract ended recently, and Cam is ready to take full control of his artistry and continue making a name for himself on the Voice stage. Which performance by Cam is your favorite? Cam is such a professional. All his choices are intentional and he puts in the work. He is going to be a star and Blake knew it from the get-go. That's why Blake always had that evil smirk on his face, as if he knew a secret none of us knew.

@@anjee.3261 the problem is when you turn for someone out of "respect" and then you don't know how to work with them. There's a reason why some judges don't turn for certain voices and genres. They know they can't do the artist justice.

“It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” by Boyz II Men is a very difficult song to sing. If you can sing it so flawlessly then you are a genius. When i saw the audition i couldn't believe that this little man, that little body could produce that singing power. His voice is amazing.
