Hayes and Lardis seem like really likable guys.

Rinzel is going to be the best player from that Hawks draft class, he’s a stud.

I hope you are right. If he can get around 200lbs, watch out!

Him and Nazar are the only ones I really have hope for right now. Moore needs to really up his game in his sophomore year.

Don't sell Vanacker among Hawks' prospects short. I watched him play over twenty times last year and with his skating and skill he should have gone in the top 15. The fact that he was able to perform so well with a major injury is amazing. I have little doubt that Vanacker will be seen as one of the biggest steals of the 2024 draft.

In KD we trust, bit the Vanavker pick is a head scratcher. It looks like Rinzel was a good call, so I hope he right with Vanacker too.

It's great to get to hear from the young guys, but "hockey-speak" is so robotic.
"Um yeah, I feel confident and want to keep improving and work hard and...um yeah...I love my teammates and want is to push each other to be a team...um yeah..."
But I also think that beat writers could be a little more creative with their questions too.
    Um yeah.

In 3 seasons, the Blackhawks will be legitimate Stanley cup contenders.

Being positive is great! But, I personally, would pump the brakes a bit. I hope you're right!!

@@TheFlizash I’m not saying that they WILL win the cup in 3 seasons, but I certainly see them as contenders and it being a possibility at that point.

@mikeporten8174 I can see them possibly winning a round in the playoffs in 3 years. I do think that KD has this mad scientist genius thing going on. He's building a team to a specific mold. I'm here for it. I find it fascinating. I think keep the buns in the oven for a while and let bake and then a couple FA signings a'la Hossa and the like to put them over the top.
I can seriously see 5 years for a Cup run. But a lot has to go right. As a 35 yr Hawk fan I've seen it all. The KD era has been the most fun ive had in a while.
Be safe on the holiday (if you're American of course). I love good-natured discourse and discussion that all to rare on the internet.
      Lets Go Hawks!

@@TheFlizash I am an American indeed and happy 4th to you too! This last draft honestly kind of raised some red flags about KD in my view and I see him being similar to Ryan Pace in some ways. I think he’s done some great things and got lucky with Bedard. What worries me is that he was trading second round picks to move up slightly (Boisvert in particular), passed on some guys he should have taken, and grabbed a guy who would have been there anyway. We have a second round pick away for nothing.

@mikeporten8174 I do think we'll regret not taking Eiserman over Boisvert. Say what you will about him, but he can do one really important thing well....score. I haunts me to think that Bedsy and Eiserman could've be a dynamic duo. Bedard has vision as good as anyone and Eiserman is pure finisher.

yeah, the frat boy hockey speak is about useless. Bettter off waiting until real hockey starts and we watch them do something worth while
