Some nice tying techniques in blending different colors and materials. Thanks much!
Thanks a lot, Steffan!! Great Video of a great Shrimp-Fly! I will test it in march on Åls... Then we will see...;-)
Best wishes,
Jan
I like this pattern..all I need is the eyes..off to Bass Pro..lol :) Thanks, Stefan!!
very interesting model but I noticed some editing errors. Until the dubbing of hairs, no problem but afterwards, it is more judicious
1 / fix a fine nylon thread just after the bristles, the latter then serving to strengthen the hackle
2 / then fix the hackle
3 / fix the two pieces of synthetic chenille.
Thus, we form the body with the synthetic chenille, then we wind the Hackle and finally, we wind the nylon thread to properly maintain the hackle windings. This avoids unnecessary back and forth of the assembly line and allows everything to be attached to the eye of the hook.
err thanks , bloody excellent post.
Freakin' great mate!
Awesome video! Thanks for that. 👏 What is the best part in a year for this pattern?
Thx
Gefällt mir gut ......
An exciting fly. But isnt it much better to use a clear mono rib to tie up the hackle instead of your tying thread
ser nice ut ska binda några å testa...
Excellent, what is the exact reference of polar chenille? medium?
Chenille are all UV?
the rooster hackles are large or medium?
thanks in advance
