Techno and Tubbo are like those friends that became friends because the younger one thought the older one was cool and the older one just gave up trying to ditch younger one
I've been in that situation. He was incredibly clingy, was really jealous of anyone else hanging out with me, and constantly Threatened to end our "Friendship" when he didn't get his way. It was nowhere near as wholesome this🥲.

Yep, that and everyone, except tubbo who forgave him, brings it up to prove their argument that he's a villain. The only person who's opinion matter gets talked over by another character who's supposedly his best friend.
True! And the fact that nobody ever jumped in to help him, they were just chillin while Techno was under peer pressure and had to choose between killing Tubbo or being jumped by the entirety of Manburg. And now they only use the situation as an insult against him, even after Tubbo forgave him. /rp
Something I've found interesting is that he apologized in the moment, but never any of the times anyone tried to bring it up after. He never even says anything like "I already apologized to Tubbo I don't have to answer to you" or anything like that when Tommy or anyone else brings it up (though...does anyone else ever bring it up?). It makes me think that Techno hates how he felt in that situation so much that he feels more comfortable owning it than admitting how helpless he actually thought he was. Better to choose bad than to not really have a choice, kinda thing.
@@a.n.9800 Honestly, it makes sense why he wouldn't bring it up. That scene is one of the very few we've seen where c!Techno's weakness is presented and worse to the whole server. Writing wise it's good not to bring it up specially in regards to his character who's this imposing figure with the skills to fight. It makes it really impactful whenever he is shown vulnerable like the speech in Doomsday. And yeah i agree he's in denial that he can be manipulated enough to be forced to kill his ally. But I'm so miffed about the fact that it kinda went over the content creators and the fans heads. Their so vocal about him being too powerful and then disregard that scene in the same breath.
