Worked at Walmart as a cashier, and I have 2 scaring stories to this day. 1. I had a mom and her small child come in my line, and as I'm ringing her up. Her croch demon drops his pants and takes a piss and shit in my lane, and the mom is laughing. I was in such a state of shock I couldn't even register what had happened. 2. I went to take a restroom break, and as I walked into the stall. I saw someone had taken human shit and spread it around the entire bathroom. I mean, there was so much shit it looked like a bomb went off it was on the walls, the toilet, it was even on the ceiling.
lol there’s a dome around the earth so you can’t walk of the earth and it’s a flat earth if you were driving on a circle earth at 6000 speed you would cross country’s in seconds
Pesticides in fish is genuinely a huge issue because of monocrop ag destroying the soil and washing all the pesticides they use on the plant into rivers and lakes because the soil is eroding into the water.
I’ve had plenty of stories from customer service. But one time when I was at Sonic. A guy ordered a strawberry banana milkshake. And I repeated it back to him but I just said banana first so banana strawberry milkshake. He then proceeded to yell at me about how I was giving him the wrong milkshake just because I said the same exact milkshake just a different way. I also had a guy threaten to kill me because he spilled his drink in his car and said that I did it to him because he knew that he was being rude to me. Bottom line, most people are off the rails socially.
Interesting and cool vid. I worked at a grocery where not signed checks would go through but all grocery stores are different. Also the grocery store I worked at let us use are phones to help us at work to look up items for customers, use the app to help customers find items, etc. I have to watch Burdie’s last working at retail video at some point.
Honestly, sometimes we push ourselves so hard to satisfy ungrateful people😔😞. I currently work in a retail Garden Centre in the UK, and the demographic that go there tend to be mostly elderly people. You would not believe the many rude and obnoxious OAPs I’ve come across🤯. You’d think a place that sells plants would be much more peaceful, but you’d be sadly mistaken😮. There are some very lovely, understanding elderly customers who I would gladly help🙂, but it’s the ones who are rude and mean to you who tend to stick with you the most. Your respect for the elderly plummets once you work in a garden centre😟. Nice upload 🙂👍.
I worked in office supply stores on and off from the mid 90s to the mid 2000s. I've run into some entitled customers, but I also had regulars who were just wonderful people and trusted me along with the staff. My favorite check writers were business purchasers and young moms: Those two would have everything ready before you finished your first syllable. Old ladies were the worst. They had to be prompted for everything: Checkbook, pen, and ID all in a purse that is not organized.
Imagine going to a grocery store in whatever city, town, or whatever you live in, and all of a sudden there is one person naked with no clothes saying that these clothes has parasites inside of clothing💀
I work at dollar general, and this one guy, he was definitely in a hurry, he also wasnt a very friendly guy either. He asks for a pack of cigarettes, I can't remember the brand. I ask for his id, and his response was something like this "You don't think I'm over fucking 21?" I don't remember what I said afterwards, and he started yelling and left the store.
When I was working in my local grocery store in Iceland I had this frensh woman arguing with me in French for 10 minutes and I said I dont speak French in English, Icelandic, danish and I even tried german despite not knowing the language. Until after about 10 minutes, she finally said, "Fine, where is the bread?". It was a 10-second walk from the front door. I said "unbelievable" and just walked away. Another time, an american woman wanted a discount because and I quote, "I am an american citizen." This was in 2015, so I don't know if she was trying to make a joke, but I just said "uh huh, next. " I got away with a lot of shit because it's a tourist town with cruise ships, and I was the only employee that could speak English and knew how to use the register and I abused that as much as I could, once told a guy to either shut up and take his shit or leave, he was complaining about the fact I was too young to sell cigarettes and I ended up adding that he coudl return his shit and go report it, but his wife was embarrassed and dragged him out.
I had to deal with a manager and supervisor who where Karen's I got fired for standing up for myself. But my coworker said drive through window was the worst people where very rude he said.

I have had the customers who try to confuse me and scam me by claiming I gave them the wrong change back I always prove to it to them by showing them their receipt: what I typed vs what I get them If they're still wildin' up, I summon my manager and have them perform an audit We are not playing games I know I can count
The feeling of being a dumbass at your job, I felt the same way at my grocery store job. Not to the same extremes you did with your mistakes, but still serious enough that the manager had a talk with me over it and I felt so embarrassed..

One of my least favorite things as a grocery store cashier was when I checked the book for the code on the produce, the customer would almost always tell me what the produce is. I’m looking for the code. I’m not trying to figure out what cauliflower is.

Once one of my friends was flying and they got stuck in the jet bridge for over an hour and once they came back, my friend’s father went to customer service and complained about it and the person at the desk said sorry I can’t do anything about that. He ripped up with their boarding passes and screamed at the top of their lungs. IM NEVER FLYING SUN COUNTRY EVERY AGAIN!!! I just find that customer service in airports is just brutally awful
