The keys are fully weighted and scaled (heavier at the bottom, lighter at the top) just like a real piano. The keys on the keyboard have an 'ivory' feel, which means the keys have tightly packed grains on, to feel like ivory. I think it feels amazing to play - So responsive, and just like a real piano :)
+Rober Dimbleby oh and I have a question, did you find the clicking sounds the keys made when you pressed them annoying? And is the audio in this video from a stereo or just the piano speakers?
Hi there, i did indeed try the sp-170, It has a nice feel just like this keyboard, but bought this keyboard because I felt that the weighting of the keys was closer to that of a real piano. Also, this keyboard has 'ivory feel keys' which basically means that it has tightly packed grains on the keys, just like ivory. This helps to reduce slippage in comparison to the korgs sp-170's glossy keys
Thankyou very much for the kind words! I love both Bach's music and Beethoven's music. I particularly like Bach's fugues, and the way the melodies interweave, amazing! :)
NEW ALBUM! robertdimbleby.bandcamp.com/album/change-of-scene Hey All! My 3rd album of original music is here. 9 tracks of groove based instrumental jazz fusion. I started this album at the end of sixth form so it's a been a while in the making, but I'm very proud of it, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! You can download a digital copy of it from bandcamp at the link above for 3 pounds, or you can wait a few weeks and I'll have hard copies that I'll be selling for a few quid more! Finally, thanks to Anna Nichols Pike for the wonderful artwork! :D Enjoy, let me know what you think! :)
I've been shopping for a decent 88-key digital piano for the past few weeks, it's going to be my first one. I used to play my fathers all the time but now living on my own, I need one! Have had my eye on this PX-150, it just seemed like a great deal for the money. This video is the tipping point; I'm ordering one now. Great vid and demonstration, you sold me!
I really like the action. I tried out numerous different digital pianos/keyboards, including very expensive Roland ones, and this one seems the most like a real piano. The px-350 has exactly the same action but more sounds and features etc. Hope this helped!
Hi there, I didn't get the 350 because it had alot of features that I wasn't interested in, Also, this keyboard has the same action and despite the 150 having less sounds, the sounds demonstrated in this video, are the same as on the 350, and pretty much all you need. I had a chance to try the yamaha p105, and yes, in my opinion the casio privia px-150 sounded, and felt much more realistic. Thanks for watching!
Robert, I am getting this PX-150 delivered to me tomorrow. And after hearing you, I know I made the right decision! But I have to tell ya.. this was an excellent demo and your playing is truly amazing!!.. I would love to hear you play a bunch of Bruce Hornsby stuff!! Bravo my friend, Bravo!!
Look, very few of pianists in the world have the necessary virtuosity and artistic abilities to play each one of them. BobDimm (may I call you in a shortened manner ?), I know is one from the very, very few that can interpret me correctly, with skill, beauty, emotion, passion and precision. With deep admiration and identity to your genius musical art. All the very best to you in every aspect of your singular and significative young creative life. Sincerily, Yan Ayrton, young composer.
Hello there! When I bought this keyboard, I went to the gear4music showroom, and tested a bunch of different keyboards. I did try the p105, and it was very nice, but I think the feel and action of the casio is superior, as well as the grand piano sounds. Hope this helped!
I don't have any problems with key noises. Plugged in the back is a power chord, pedal, and an output to my recording device (1/4" jack to 2xPhono, for stereo), thanks for watching!
loving the elton nice job man. I have the same keyboard, been collecting dust for over a year now. Gonna sell it to someone who can show it the respect it deserves.
The World-class performer! Casio should pay you for demoing their products in such a convincing way. Or, do they already pay? I bet many people who want to start playing will rush into their local music store or online to buy this model after seeing you playing it so beautifully. I'm impressed.
Bravo Robert !!! You are a exceptional great composer and pianist. So rare and so unique! Having a stunning talent you created the best demonstration possible all-time from a digital piano. No one from fabric musicians demonstrators have 1% of your genius musicality. They are boring limitated and unimaginative. I am a young composer too Robert. From Brazil. Listen to from me : my Etude no.54"Gigne",my Impromptu no.18 "Essence",my"The True Love"(p1) and my "Awakening to Life" piano solo piece.
Hi there, I didn't get the 350 because it had alot of features that I wasn't interested in, Also, this keyboard has the same action and despite the 150 having less sounds, the sounds demonstrated in this video, are the same as on the 350, and pretty much all you need. Thanks for watching!
You have to teach me how you play -- you're very good. I'm just going back to playing after stopping a few years. I want to learn those stuff you played. Will buy this piano in a few weeks tnx to this vid.
Thanks. I was deciding between the Yamaha P-105 and this one. I went ahead and bought the Casio px 150 last week. I wouldn't say that I'm in love with it. Maybe it will take some time. One thing I don't like is that that the Transpose setting is hidden and the notes don't sustain long enough. Not sure if I want to keep it.
Hi there, For some reason I managed to forget one of the sounds. This sound is called 'vibes', which I does bare a resemblance to a marimba. Thanks for watching!
Robert, your improvisation is stupendous :) I've been umming and arring about this board for the past week for my daughter who has just started piano lessons and only ever had Yamaha boards and as of late a Nord, I really was looking for a reason to stick to a Yamaha or something with a bit of a more prestige name in the world of music lol but this has been the deal clencher as I have not been able to get to a shop to try one for myself. The guys at Production Room have been great offering advise over the phone but I can't help but think Casio have done a poor job using social media to promote this board. There official youtube channel features a 3 minute introduction and is nowhere near as informative as your vid. The ride bass is for me a stand out feature! Thanks again Robert.
I've tried alot of Roland digital pianos - I personally find the action too heavy. Also, if you are using headphones for most the time, you will have no problem at all with the privia digital pianos, as the built in sounds are amazing. That's just my opinion anyway :)
Hi everyone. It would be greatly appreciated if you could check out my Jazz compositions. You can either find them on my channel, or recording in high quality on my soundcloud channel!
What is your opinion Robert about Beethoven and Bach`s music ? They are the very, very best to me. The jazz had Art Tatum. After him no one more in ultimate Jazz Piano Art. And now have you. This is fantastic, revolutionary and sublime. I subb you with pride and emotion.
I simply plugged the keyboard's headphone output into my recording device, and put the audio in sync with the video, i did no editing at all towards the audio :)
Sorry to hear that. I'm really impressed with this keyboard personally, but what i was looking for was simply a nice feeling, nice sounding keyboard, perhaps you were after something a little more
The keys are fully weighted and scaled (heavier at the bottom, lighter at the top) just like a real piano. The keys on the keyboard have an 'ivory' feel, which means the keys have tightly packed grains on, to feel like ivory. I think it feels amazing to play - So responsive, and just like a real piano :)
nice sweater
grebbx Haha thanks!
Finally a demo where they show all the sounds. Thanks for this, your playing was great!
Pleasure! :)
+Rober Dimbleby oh and I have a question, did you find the clicking sounds the keys made when you pressed them annoying? And is the audio in this video from a stereo or just the piano speakers?
Dude - great playing. That is how you properly demo a digital piano

Robert Dimbleby is this improvised??
This video totally sold me on this keyboard! Thank you for your wonderful playing.
My pleasure!

Great vid and demonstration, you sold me!
definitely! it's very light
Wow I loved the "That's why They Call it the Blues" in there!
I'm sold on this piano, can't wait!
Thanks! Enjoy it!
Great demo. The performance is right on!. Specially the last minute with a Jazz demo (bass and piano). Thank you!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy it!
Wow what an absolute joy to watch & listen to, thankyou , bravo 👏 🙌
Thankyou! The px-750 Has the ability to record onto a memory stick, and has more sounds (I think). Also the speakers are much better quality
I really like the action. I tried out numerous different digital pianos/keyboards, including very expensive Roland ones, and this one seems the most like a real piano. The px-350 has exactly the same action but more sounds and features etc. Hope this helped!
I agree! I loved the first couple of piano pieces
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Thank you very much, I'm glad i could help!
That's great! The stand only works with the px-130/330
thanks :) I tried korg sp170 and yamaha p105 and I preferred the feel and sound of this keyboard
Excellent action, especially for playing classical music, or music that requires a light touch
Hello pianiste +22547343345

A lot of practice and lessons! thank you very much! :)

Thankyou, I love that piece!
There's two separate 1/4 inch headphone outputs, which work fine for a PA. Also you can use a phono to 1/4 inch lead to get stereo :)
Wow, Love your music, Thinking about getting PX150. That first song was amazing, great job.
Thank you very much! :)
Your welcome :)
Please more videos about px150, thanks so much and compliments!

Spectacular performance!
KAKO DJ Thanks!
I've listened to this medley of songs quite a few times, you are a talent :). The improv jazz at the start and the end is very cool music.
Thank you very much, glad you like it! :)
Great piano and great skills
beautiful sound and very nice skills man, such a pleasure to hear
floopy312 Thanks very much!
I plugged a 1/4" jack lead from the keyboard's headphone output, to my recording device (which was connected to my Ableton Live on my computer) :)
great video! awesome playing! Epic sweater!
Nice, I had a Privia 330 and now I'm waiting for a new Celviano AP-650
I don't have any problems with key noises. Plugged in the back is a power chord, pedal, and an output to my recording device (1/4" jack to 2xPhono, for stereo), thanks for watching!
Amazing playing! I love my Casio CDP-100, but I can see upgrading to this soon.
loving the elton nice job man. I have the same keyboard, been collecting dust for over a year now. Gonna sell it to someone who can show it the respect it deserves.
Do you still have it
+rainbowmokeys456 yup!
Nice demos! It's amazing what you can get for under $500 these days!
The World-class performer! Casio should pay you for demoing their products in such a convincing way. Or, do they already pay?
I bet many people who want to start playing will rush into their local music store or online to buy this model after seeing you playing it so beautifully. I'm impressed.
The firs melody was real good. Keep up the good job :)
Nice playing!
Thanks for the amazing demo! Very talented :)
Thanks :)
great improv :) thanks for helping me pick out a keyboard!
i tried both and I recommend this one :)
Yes I'm very pleased! It vibrates ever so slightly, but this is due to the nature of the keyboard stand, not the keyboard itself :)
Bravo Robert !!!

Thanks for the video! I've been searching to see if this model has a harpsichord sound included and it does!
Thanks man! Well I know what im getting now! The korg I have now feels like im carrying an upright on my shoulder
Yeah, I will settle with the PX-150, it is good value for the price and you are truly incredible with the piano!
Hi there, I didn't get the 350 because it had alot of features that I wasn't interested in, Also, this keyboard has the same action and despite the 150 having less sounds, the sounds demonstrated in this video, are the same as on the 350, and pretty much all you need. Thanks for watching!

Muito bom, Muito bom mesmo!! Parabéns meu amigo.
You have to teach me how you play -- you're very good. I'm just going back to playing after stopping a few years. I want to learn those stuff you played. Will buy this piano in a few weeks tnx to this vid.
PizzaGirl Thank you very much! Glad I could inspire you :)
Great! Glad I could help :)

I've been having lessons for 10 years, but was fiddling around on pianos and other musical instruments before that. Thanks for watching!
Ok, what your saying is I should buy one.
Hi there, For some reason I managed to forget one of the sounds. This sound is called 'vibes', which I does bare a resemblance to a marimba. Thanks for watching!
Hello c'est pianiste Whatsap +22547343345🙇♀️🙇♀️
It was a short tune that I composed, but I haven't yet made it into a full song. Thanks for the highly positive feedback!
I'm afraid I haven't tried the Kawai cl-36 but I can definitely recommend the Casio PX-150 to you
OK, glad you've sorted it anyway, thanks again for watching.
I plugged the keyboard into my zoom r16 (recording device) using a quarter inch jack cable, thanks for watching! :)
Wow that was really good. You should have gotten paid for that performance
Robert, your improvisation is stupendous :)

Thanks again Robert.
That's not a problem, I'm really glad I could help you out!
The keyboard does have a built in recording option if that's what you mean :)
Thank you! :)
Thanks! If you're into jazz piano, it would be great if you could check out my other videos :)
Thank you very much :)
That could be due to the fact that I recorded it mono, as I didn't have a stereo lead at the time, thanks for watching!
Robert Dimbleby Holy crap you're good!
I'm afraid I haven't tried the CDP-120, but the privia px-150 is certainly worth the money in my opinion
Thanks! no problems :)
I've tried alot of Roland digital pianos - I personally find the action too heavy. Also, if you are using headphones for most the time, you will have no problem at all with the privia digital pianos, as the built in sounds are amazing. That's just my opinion anyway :)
Damn 3:15 :) I come here to see demo of that piano and i found your fingers. I'm jealous now :P Thank you!
Thanks very much! My pleasure :)
Hi everyone. It would be greatly appreciated if you could check out my Jazz compositions. You can either find them on my channel, or recording in high quality on my soundcloud channel!
Thankyou! Casio do not not pay me for doing this. Thanks again, and thanks for watching, hope it was useful :)
Thanks! I agree, you can get some great buys if you put some effort in :)
Robert Dimbleby i
Cheers!
I love it how you play arabesque no.1 :))
I haven't tried that particular model sorry!
Hi there, sorry for the late reply, I'll let you know tomorrow, thanks for watching!
I got it from Topman a year or so ago :)
Thank you very much for sharing!!!!
thienmiller Pleasure!
I simply plugged the keyboard's headphone output into my recording device, and put the audio in sync with the video, i did no editing at all towards the audio :)
Sorry to hear that. I'm really impressed with this keyboard personally, but what i was looking for was simply a nice feeling, nice sounding keyboard, perhaps you were after something a little more
that first song was awesome
Thank you very much!
Gran trabajo! Saludos.
Simply plugged a 1/4" jack lead from my keyboard to my recording device. Should have done it stereo really!
Ciekawie ten px brzmi. Teraz jest nowszy odpowiednik tego modelu px-160, który ma jeszcze bardziej podrasowane próbki.
A sustain pedal is definitely required if it is to be played like a piano I think :)
There are two 1/4" stereo jack outputs
Thanks :)
Thankyou :)
Excellent! Can you add the names of the pieces on the video as they change? TY
Killin it !
Wow love your playing...really enjoyable.......what's that piece at 1:00 please....it's really great....the Casio sounds really good as well.
