When the Privia is connected to your computer it can be used with a variety of music software applications. Those applications could help you compose using the PX-350's own sounds or you can simply use the PX-350 as a controller for other software based instruments.
Excellent sounding piano and fabulous playing! Casio is back! Also those new synths you came out with is incredible. You need to get these equipment in the hands of reputable artist and RUclips it!
what would really interest me is if casio took the px-150 and stripped it of every feature, even the speakers and just kept the Key action and feel to use as a great feeling midi controller. I wish they did that.
Beautiful sounding digital piano! Casio is going to sell a lot of the PX-350's. I would like to buy one next year some time. It really is a superb value.
I think it's time to upgrade my trusty PX-320, which I bought new after comparing it to competing piano's costing two to three times as much. One request for subsequent versions though.... please make the text below the buttons readable in low(er) light conditions.
Yep, Casio is officially a true player in the market! IMO, that piano destroys Yamaha's and even Roland's Super Natural Modeling. Kurz and Nord better be listening! Great Vid Mike, as usual!! ;)
I am looking to buy a digital piano, I have a Logitech Z500 or something speaker setup connected to my computer, it has a lot of connections in the back, do you think I could hook up this piano to those speakers, or would it not work or be recommended and would I be better served playing the piano through a LINE IN on my acoustic amp or something else?
chromesthesia I ended up going for PX-5S and got quite a decent deal on it. I already hve nice peakersso it made sense to get the PX-5S with its MIDI routing, synth engine and flexibility.
It's a stage-piano and sounds like a stagepiano, typical hard metallic pop-piano sound. I miss a softness in it, needed for a more classical piano sound. Can that sound be found to on this board?
To me I'll still pick this over any traditional piano due to the fact that my house no longer have any space left for a heavy bulky piano this will be the one i'm getting in the future.
Hi Mike!! Look, I have some troubles with my PX350. I can't reproduce songs from a USB memory. I get "error file". I go to the instructions, and tells me I have to move the file into the "MUSICLIB" or "AUDIO". I follow this steps but the error is the same. What can I do? Thanks!!
was wondering does any one know how to adjust the split volume on the px 350.i only have it about a week and im not very tech minded, so would apricate any info. cheers
It's so difficult to find a real review for this digital piano. All the reviews on youtube and many websites are made from guys who work for casio. If someone already got the casio px 350 I would like to know: are the keys really hard to press and are they really making some anoying noise as I have read in a forum? Thanx.
I am owner of a px350 and would like to know if you have how to add new ringtones?
This is just fabulous video, because you have showed the great feature - USB audio recording on flash drive. For me this is absolutely important feature, and I'm looking for affordable instrument with ability of Audio recording on USB Flash Drive. And that's why I'm here, on RUclips, looking for reviews. And this video just what I need - to hear final result of this recording. Thanks for that! Sound level seemed a little low, I need to make sound level on my computer higher than usualy. Is that because of recording on USB flash drive?
then you have a very good deal on the PX-350... the casio has a lot more bells and wistles, than the P-45. In deed it is more compareable to the Yamaha DGX-650. If you focus on piano only, without accompany-feature look for the Casio PX-150/160 - it is compareable to the Yamaha P-115. It can be discussed, if Yamaha GHS-keys or Casio's are better... let's say they are on a similar level, with a slight edge on specs for Casio (ebony feel and third sensor). But Casio's AiR should be better, than Yamaha's old AWM sound-engine in the P-45 - more compareable to the PureCF in the better models, though I really like the Yamaha piano-samples.
When Casio compared their AP-450 to a "Concert Grand", it seemed to be a Steinway. Just by looking at the length of the text of the brand name, the color of the brand name, it seems like it MUST be a Steinway. Now I am not sure whether or not Casio used a Steinway on their Privia line. To me, it does have the warm sounding characteristics of a Steinway concert grand, but like I said I am not positive. I hope they sampled Steinway on their Privia line.. if so I am absolutely purchasing a PX-350 or PX-150. If someone knows, please tell me.
sp pro Yamaha DGX 650. When posting that, I was a little Steinway crazy haha. Still am! One of my favorites, for sure. But, I got more realistic. I'm happy with my Yamaha and it's likely that my next piano will be an acoustic. Also likely to be a Yamaha.
+Bartopin B thank you very much for your reply. just came from the store. I tried a bunch of digital piano. I'm debating between 3: Roland rd800 (although quite expensive 3700$), Yamaha P115 or the one you got, the Yamaha dgx 650. the p115 actions is not something I like. the dgx is fine, I prefer it over the p115. But if I had the money, the Roland. there is always the V-Piano (7000$). Hard choice. Hard to find a good key action and good piano sound. If I can't find anything else, I'll probably go with the Dgx650. Anyways, thank you very much for your feedback.
sp pro I don't recommend the V-Piano. I love my DGX, but it isn't for everyone. Between the 3 of those, I would go for the Roland if you can afford it AND like the action of it as well as the sound. But, keep in mind you could get a good sized, used, quality upright piano for $3,300. So if noise and room isn't an issue, a good quality upright piano is better than any digital piano. $7000 is too much for a digital piano, I assure you. For $7000 you could get a used, great upright and also have a silent system installed into it to play with headphones.
this video is a fake because I've just bought the Px350 expecting it would sound as in this video and the sound of the Grand piano preset is a shit. Maybe they are using an equalizer, reverb, etc. to change the real sound of the PX-350
I like to be fair so I must say that after trying more deeply I have to say that it sounds very well with external speakers (never with the internal ones). It's one of the best I've tried but I'm used to play with a real acoustic piano so I don't like to hear all these companies saying that their digital pianos sound like an acoustic piano. No one.
The audio was recorded directly on the PX-350 using the USB audio recording feature. It is not processed or edited in any way that is the pure unedited sound of the piano as it sound in headphones or through the line outputs.

When the Privia is connected to your computer it can be used with a variety of music software applications. Those applications could help you compose using the PX-350's own sounds or you can simply use the PX-350 as a controller for other software based instruments.
Dude...'despite my performance'...pfftt! Great chops, man. Can't wait to get my sample.

Looks very solid, sounds nice also.
Beautiful sounding digital piano! Casio is going to sell a lot of the PX-350's. I would like to buy one next year some time. It really is a superb value.
Sounds beautiful! Hoping to buy a PX-850 in the coming weeks, once it's out, for my teenage son. Makes me want to learn how to play myself!
hi! this video is cool for a quick look, but can you make a full review?? i'm really interested in it so it would mean a lot...
thanks!!
I think it's time to upgrade my trusty PX-320, which I bought new after comparing it to competing piano's costing two to three times as much. One request for subsequent versions though.... please make the text below the buttons readable in low(er) light conditions.
Wow,spent an hour listening to YT Casio demos. Finally one that doesn't sound like a "Casio."
Not quite there yet but getting closer..
You nailed it! Thanks for this awesome video.
What is the difference between px-150 and px-350
There is a Layer Balance adjustment in the Function menu
Yep, Casio is officially a true player in the market! IMO, that piano destroys Yamaha's and even Roland's Super Natural Modeling. Kurz and Nord better be listening! Great Vid Mike, as usual!! ;)
why it is still not available in the Philippines..???
I am looking to buy a digital piano, I have a Logitech Z500 or something speaker setup connected to my computer, it has a lot of connections in the back, do you think I could hook up this piano to those speakers, or would it not work or be recommended and would I be better served playing the piano through a LINE IN on my acoustic amp or something else?
The PX-150 has the same keyboard action and yes all you need is a USB cable.
I have one of these, I originally set out to buy something cheaper but glad I got this for £480. The action is superb and the sound is awesome.
tomc37 I'm not sure if I should buy this or stretch for a PX-5S... :/
Cue Zephyr I'm thinking of getting this one because it has built in speakers and the PX-5S doesn't.
chromesthesia I ended up going for PX-5S and got quite a decent deal on it. I already hve nice peakersso it made sense to get the PX-5S with its MIDI routing, synth engine and flexibility.

Hi Mike, was that sound directly from PX350 or through some external speakers?
Truly amazing piano, but whats the release date for it? I am so anxious to buy!
The key action is identical to the px-150 right?
Also to connect the px-150 to my pc to use with Kontakt i use USB A to B right, not midi cable?
Casio! I'm waiting for a PX-3 but with the same piano sounds of PX-350.
is the privia digital piano available in the Philipines?
Besides the features, do you think Casio PX 150 has just as much of a crisp sound for the Grand Piano sound as the PX 350?
This is an original composition by Mike Martin
i love the sound of your piano, i live in baghdad if i travel to usa i would buy one and try to learn to play
could you please tell me the name of the keyboard which is also seen in this video at the back??..it looks quite nice..
How much the price?
ive tried this still cant drop the volume of the left hand bass tone
does the 350 have a designated transpose?
Hi Mike!! Look, I have some troubles with my PX350. I can't reproduce songs from a USB memory. I get "error file". I go to the instructions, and tells me I have to move the file into the "MUSICLIB" or "AUDIO". I follow this steps but the error is the same. What can I do?

Nice piano and you play very well! I'll buy one.
By the way what's the title of what you play?
I love your playing I wish I could play like that
350 - it has new drastically improved sound.
When you plug casio with usb cable, do you use it as a controller on a software, or can it be used for something else as well??
What is the difference between the PX 350 and the PX 350 MBK?

Hi Mike,
What song do you actually play on the beautiful 350?
thanks

What you decided ?
what made you chose it over the px-150?
somebody help me...
what is the better sound of piano PX 350 or PX735???
hey mike, which song are you playing? it's beautiful...
The song that starts in 1:48 sounds like changes - 2pac.

Is that also true for Europe?
is possible to use Kontakt software ?
Anybody knows what mike is playing?
I use this on stage. It's a great instrument.
Hm, I'm a bit taken off by the blinking LEDs - but the sound is great!
I am owner of a px350 and would like to know if you have how to add new ringtones?

Hey the sound is actually great and not low try wearing earphones :)
What did you play?
how can i connect this piano to soundcard Focusrite Scarlett 2i4? Please help!
Just take the 1/4" Left and Right outputs to the inputs of your Focusrite.
Casio Music Gear lixo, produto e atendimento podre, estou muito decepcionada
Why don't you demo some of the other sounds like Pipe organ
ok guys... it sounds great.. stop comparing. its annoying. everyone's about price tags now... lame
Weighted keys?
Yes, all the Privia models have weighted keys.
Shipping this month (September 2012)
it says in the video.

I'm going to buy P-45 but there is Casio PX-350 for the same price. I need an advice what to choose. Guys, please tell me what you think :)

I need help for my casio piano please help someone!
Yes for a low budget piano nice but my favorite is yamaha:)
Actually the PX-135 has got plastic keys, while the PX-350 is ivory. That's only one of the improvements though.
Do you mean the Casio Privia PX-350 is a toy..?
O ok cool thanks
all mike martin demo got that song and believe me I am tired of listening to that tune I wish he will come up with something new
