Domestic Violence Training 2020

Domestic violence is a sensitive topic that needs to be discussed. Mountain Park Health Center held an informative training session to help train our staff to understand, recognize, respond and refer cases of domestic or family violence. Thanks to our moderator Janey Pearl Starks, Director of Marketing and Engagement, and our guest panelists; Dr. Tracy Dixon, Behavioral Health Services Integrated Manager; Sergeant Heather Maldonado from the Domestic Violence Unit at the Phoenix Police Department; and Doreen Nicholas, Domestic Violence Manger at the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence for providing us with this important information.
