2nd Alarm Fire, Vacant Building in DC

On Friday, January 26, 2024, Washington DC Fire and EMS responded to a structure fire in the Benning neighborhood in NE Washington. Ops quickly switched to defensive attack due to structural integrity. Exposure spread to delta side roof.
A Turtle and Kirby the ferret rescued. 4 adults and 4 children displaced. No injuries.
