This story reminds me of the time, 2 years ago it was squirrel seasons and my husband didnt get any killed so i said out loud joking, "even if we didnt get to shoot, can we at least see one" not even 5 minutes later we saw a grey squirrel ran in front of us into a ditch. We chased it down and it was no where to be found. We even looked in the trees. My husband was like, "well you got to see one at least. Now you know what they look like." I just smiled, because i didn't think we were going to actually see a squirrel. That season, we didnt get any kills. No one did. But i saw my first grey squirrel & the year after that i shoot my first 2.
