I sobbed ugly tears when I first got the cards in my hands and flipped through them all. This deck is so different, I think the experiences while working with it are profound, therapeutic, this deck is very much a warm grandmothers hug deck and I truly adore it. Your review bought back those raw emotions the first time I saw this wonderful deck and it was a gentle reminder of the powerful experiences. As always, beautiful video overview.

I could listen to you forever Candy, you should narrate books and most definitely meditations. Ive added this deck to my amazon wishlist its out of stock already but it really appealed to me. My journey in grief after the loss of my husband in September plunged me into loneliness something I havent experienced for a long time or so I thought. Being a carer for 18 years is a lonely experience but I realised in that time I had forgotton who I was so I am taking this time to heal, adjust and get to know myself all over again, and hopefully get to a good place and love myself again. Its hard to get into words what i exactly mean but Im sure you know what I mean, thanks for sharing x

I was meant to watch this video. I can relate to you so much. A few years ago, I was on my own after coming out if a relationship which was draining me physically and emotionally. I learned so much about myself at that time but also felt very lonely at times. 'Into the Lonely Woods' would have helped me so much. I am now in a good relationship but am exploring my spirituality. I am getting so much comfort and help through my Tarot and Oracle cards. I dont feel lonely but like all seekers I have to travel this path alone. Like you I need my own space. The Hernit card has always resonated with me. I am now tempted to buy this deck. Thank you so much for your channel.

The Somnia Tarot has been on my wishlist for a good while now, but it's quite pricey for me at the moment ...I would love to see it becoming a mass market deck! (One can keep dreaming,right?!lol) xx

Ohhh, that deck. I remember not being interested when I first saw it, but by the end of last year, my inner kiddo yearned for it. What a gentle soul it has, and your pairing with the Somnia is just beautiful. What a way to soften the edges of the tarot while still matching its energy. Something about the relative facelessness in both decks, too, really works. Loved this, Candy--you're such a gentle soul as well! 🤎

Hey Candy, I like you am a natural hermit, I value my alone time, my time at my computer where I get to write my stories and be in my inner world. I’m an introvert so being around people drains my energy so having time in solitude away from people is important for me. The Hermit is the card that I relate to the most in the tarot. I actually used to be a preschool teacher too, and story is something incredibly important to me in my life. If you like this deck, you should have a look at the Solitary Witch Oracle, also by Lucy Cavendish. It’s a gorgeous deck and the artwork is just stunning, it’s like stepping into a magical world.

When I first opened this deck, I felt I was looking at little artworks, as the images really spoke to me. For me this deck feels like a blanket when I am overwhelmed with sadness and loneliness. Thank you for putting it in the spotlight in this caring, loving way, the perfect way to get a feel of it.
