Why cant u keep females?
So be a sustainable fishery, they need to be able to multiply. Each female can produce around 2 million eggs when they spawn.
Good day fishing. How are you able to make a quick determination if a crab is a male from the female from looking at them from a top view? I would verify by flipping them over to look at abdomen.
We do too to make certain but at a glance on the top of the shells, the females’ shells are much more round from side to side than the males’ shells. It’s not 💯 but it’s pretty accurate. Also if you can see the back of the shell when they are upright, you can usually see enough of the apron to tell.

I’m really not that good at it. I just go have fun and the crab get to feeling sorry for people for having to ride around with me in my boat so they sacrifice their lives for my passengers. 😂🤣😂
