- this is one of my favorite feel good short yoga practices that I do often so it only felt right to share it with all of you! subtle moments of dynamic stretching and activation will guide you into soft space for deeper openings that will allow you the chance to relax and feel comfortable. this class places it's focus on external rotation and hip flexion for bigger poses like double pigeon. I hope you enjoy this chill practice that will move you into a space of personal awareness and connection.

Thank you Patrick, this one is a keeper to come back to, for feeling open but strong at the same time in my hip area. Doing a lot of practicing at commune so not always finding the time to flow along on YT as well, but when this came by, my body just said YES! Soooo.. again, thank you 🙏🏻

I always enjoy practicing with you! Those pulsing squat moves with the knees in figure 4 like position were practically impossible for me!! Any extra tips for extra tight hips? Thank you for your time and expertise…Namaste 🙏
shorten your ranges so the places you are moving through can be active and you feel sensation, sometimes people try to move ahead of where they are because of aesthetics they see in others instead of being consistent with the spaces they can navigate. focus on feeling good ☺️
can i ask a question? @patrick and @Carling whats the difference in muscle activation in a bridge : squeezing a block vs pushing the knees out into a strap around the thighs above the knees?
ideally holding the block is better because that is recruiting the proper muscle pattern of movement, pushing out against the strap creates lift by driving away from the midline, we want to. create force moving to the midline! focus on activating your glutei to create lift!

there are a few older yin classes from carling I think but many of the classes here or more based on vinyasa yoga, movement flexibility, and restorative practices.
