Just finished the game. Went to the end of back garden where there's a river. Lit a smoke, put this song on and just... Was mind blown when I realised how perfect the moment was. A grey cloudy day. Yet a bit of sun is breaking through and reflecting off of the darkness of the river....
genuinely makes me cry. the song makes me shiver because of how insightful it is on me. penetrates inside and through my chest. I feel driven and helpless before the weightlessness and deep mystery of the sound of the composition.. thanks alan wake for this awesome summer i'm having.... p_p

Same thing happened with The Cure albums that were announced and Robert Smith said were finished, but then we still haven’t seen the new albums drop yet and have just been waiting and waiting. There have been some shenanigans taking place that Poe seems to be part of in creating a gigantic masterpiece 🤣. This road is pretty epic and on a grand scale beyond just Alan Wake 😆. That merger was the biggest stake in the heart of her career because the merger was fucking terrible to begin with. We were robbed of the chance of ever seeing those 3 poe albums after haunted.
The mix on the original "official" video was very quiet, and I was able to get it in good quality and boost the mix so it plays about the same audio level as anything you'd stream off YT Music/Spotify/iTunes
