Merits of Honda city. 1)6th forward gear, 2)sunroof, 3)large space glove box in middle of the front seats, 4)the brand name. Demerits of Honda city 1) R15inch 175inch tyres-smaller than Maruti ciaz, 2)low ground clearance-bumper and engine guard get damage oftentimes, 3) engine sound comes to inside the car.

Ciaz is much more spacious than city and Verna as well. Even ground clearance of CIAZ is 5mm more than city and Verna. Ciaz's Length is 4490mm and city's length 4440mm. Same with wheelbase, ciaz's wheelbase is 50mm exxxtra than other both cars.
Mileage is more than city and Verna.
You have compared old ciaz and new city model ....But still nice one.....Next year will be a fair time after new ciaz launch to compare both....n It's really difficult to pick any one of the car when you test drive them...Both r excellent
It's ridiculous to compare these 2 cars or between Verna and Ciaz.
Ciaz is around 2 lakhs lower priced at the onset. So there has to be a compromise in terms of power and features. Even Ciaz does not give sunroof, HDMI input, WIFI connectivity, 3 view rear cam and lot more. So, there is clear difference in class.
Honda City and Verna are authentic Mid Size Sedans whereas Ciaz is a Crossover of hatch with a boot and Mid Size Sedan.
Ciaz is more comfortable than honda city . Even average too and suspension too.
Before even starting the video I knew it would biased to City. You ignore and underrate Maruti Suzuki everytime

Sir but then also ciaz diesel is high on sales among its counterparts and one more thing low cost of service hassle free ownership and reliability makes perfect for long term ownership I too own ciaz my dad daily drive 120kms total to and fro to his office and already clocked 65k kms on odo and frankly no single issue and most important is reasle value of ciaz is great u can bargain effectively if I am wrong u can ask owners of city and Verna and what problem they face

The nutshell review is : who want a sedate ride and value for money then CIAZ is best...... Who require thrill and fun to some extent then Honda City and Verna may be chosen..... Do you know the market share of Maruti.... Sale count of CIAZ is higher or somehow equal to Honda City.... And Verna sale count is no more comparable.... So please review from all perspectives.
Sunroof has never proven to be successful..
I am a student who does part time chauffeuring and driving and to me Verna was do damn uncomfortable that i couldn't even sit properly in the drivers seat. Let alone the rear sear, there's absolutely no head room with the curving roof lines

I have both city diesel and ciaz diesel. On papers ciaz diesel seems less then diesel city but its more fast then city diesel in pickup, more refined and has better ride quality then city.

U are 6 feet u said and aap Hyundai verna ka zikar kaise kar sakte hai once u will fit urself in it apko ghutan mehsus hogi and apka head bhi nikalte samey touch hoga. Waise honda aor maruti ka koi mukabla nahi as Maruti always use cheap materials and clattering sound starts from cheap plastic and the car produces a foul smell when parked in direct sun. On the other hand honda is class above in quality so someone who is a man or woman of refined taste and looking for durability and comfort with equally good performance honda is a no brainer in petrol or diesel
