I am so much like my grandfather I never knew. Was a baby when he died back in '69... I feel his Yaqui Sonora blood in me to my soul. I will someday go to where my true beginnings were created. My mother is 85 and she has taught me everything she knows about life, family and deep tradition. I break out in tears often because I know I was born in the wrong century...

What if your great grandparents have multiple last names

Oh! My gasp at seeing Mayo Yaqui language on there!!
I had hope that ancestry or a Mexican based company would have more breakdown on my Mexican Indigenous roots genetically. This video is a gem. Thank you.

Half of my family came from Spain and the other half came from Nuevo León. The part of my family that came from Nuevo León has been lost in time because they all passed when I was young. I know a few tribes came that part but not sure which one. How can I get as details for that part ?

This is a really great presentation. I'm tracing my ancestry back and it sure gets difficult prior to the start of the civil registrations in 1859. Especially when baptism records don't have ages of parents or the fathers name.

      Just get a DNA test

@@petergeramin7195 I've already done a DNA test. The specific information I was searching for can't be figured out just through a DNA test.

What a terrific presentation. I'm so glad it is on RUclips for viewing because I missed the original date. I'm also so grateful to LAPL for making ancestry library edition available to cardholders. I stumbled upon the fact that it was available and the timing is perfect, as I want to continue my research into my family lines. Thank you John and Julie.

Haha Spain’s “military superiority” and not the thousands of Indian allies. Haha the mixing and not forced relations. Jfc why it’s important to have our own teachers.
