True what you say that an honest Ukrainian girl will not accept any financial help from a man she doesnt feel comfortable with it... But now with the war, most ladies will take any financial help and that is the problem cos of the war you dont know if they are telling the true or not about needing help..
I think one of the main differences in cultures would be traditional orthodox values in the east vs. Feminist 50/50 values in the west. As a Westerner, you would be hard pressed to find a trad wife. Most women are taught career first above a long-term partnership. Unfortunately to marry a Slavic woman you have to bring the state for marriage and citizenship. Getting the state involved is always and bad idea. Marriages are disposable in the 21 century. Orthodox women are some of the best but you have to be a provider have a good family. 50/50 relationships are failing.

My Ukranian wife is the best. My best friend, my peace :) Just returned from meeting her family and friends. All wonderful people. Just like Russian people (quit focusing on politics)... they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Love Russia, love Ukraine. Overall (as a percentage), these people have more morality than people in the USA. I cherish every trip back. As for my experience in Russia... I flew through Moscow a few weeks ago. Was only treated with dignity and respect. Don't believe everything you hear on the news!

If anybody wants some real advice, I have real life experience with, Ukrainian women, Russian Women and Bulgarian Women. I had a Ukrainian fiance and a Bulgarian wife. Some Russian GFs. Among these relationships there are multiple incidents of serious and not so serious relationships. Overall I am a fan (obviously) but there are some things to look out for when trying to find a lovely Slavic woman. There are many woman that deserve a good man, but the dangers are very commonly experienced by everyday blokes.
