    My father never told me about the birds & the bees
    And I guess I never realised
    That I would ever meet birds as beautiful as these
    I came inside, climbed to your bedroom
    I kissed your eyes awake and then I did what I knew was only natural.

    Reminds of middle-age Alex Turner... Too bad he's tuned out the way he did...

      Too bad Cocker or Turner turned out they way they did?
      it's quite an insult to state Cocker reminds you of (How you see) Turner in the future.... This whole sound belongs to Cocker, not Turner. Peace.

      She said "tuned out" and you read it "tuRned out". :) And she is right, by the way.

      which way is that supposed to go? either way, that's a compliment, because they're both talented, beautiful, witty men that will go on to be for many years to come. Though, they both have their own thing. You could compare this to Cornerstone by Arctic Monkeys, or Alex's solo music for the movie Submarine, because they're all acoustic songs with a wit and natural, loving beauty in them, but they're all their own. I suggest taking another look at their discography, writings, and talent, both musically and personality/wise, because you're missing something good with these two.

      Can somebody explain this comment? What have either of them done that's bad?

    • @MikaTamni
      @MikaTamni 2 года назад +3

      Sorry, my bad with this poor explanation. Jarvis is making great stuff throughout his career to this day. At some point, I felt that Alex Turner might make same big steps as his Sheffield counterpart, but that just fell through since Alex and AM have strayed away completely off the road and haven't published a decent single/album since You and I with Richard Hawley.
