Are you using sali or benz for lift? I can't ever seem to get mine to chirp on launch like yours does before the strobe kicks in. (Using sali for lift on a strobe/whistle spindle.)
Glad you like them! After the PGI I should have time to produce more (and better) videos. The strobe rate is largely a function of the magnalium mesh size. A mix containing a higher ratio of coarse magnalium will strobe slower and louder than a mix containing a higher ratio of finer magnalium.
The thrust portion of a rocket is done in less of a second, so the audible whistle that a normal whistle rocket makes is primarily coming from the delay fuel. For a strobe, whistle is used to get it in the air, about 1/3 of the spindle, burning for less than a second. The rest of the cored fuel is strobe, plus a pinch over top of the spindle. Normally you wouldn't hear the cored fuel but since the strobe burns so slowly it is allowed to be heard before the delay portion of flight.

Love your channel!! Looking forward to more of your content. Do you know how to achieve more of that slow "chopper" sound on the strobe rocket?

That was awesome.
Yeah, one of my favorites. My kid built this one.
@@firesmithmanufacturing9376 That's even more awesome 👍
Doesnt whistle fuel make the rocket go up in the air? If so how come didnt i hear a whistle sound while it was launching?
