Yup, resort to the basics, hack and re-try! We all learn from experience! I really need to build my CNC. Have a 3018, modified but not working yet, MPCNC, printed, but not built and a Lowrider 3, waiting for the 3018 to work. :) It seems a circle of dependency, but I'm getting there!
Thank you. I did consider to start all over but i didn't want to waste the wood and time :) I normally do zero from stock. In this case there was not much stock left after roughing path so decided to go from waste board.
Hi. Yes, it took around 6 hours. 3D carving is one of the longest operation on the CNC routers in general. You could play around with settings to cut down on time, however quality of your piece would drop as well. To do so I would increase stepover of the bit from 7% to higher number or use a bigger ball nose bite. On my other videos I did 3d carves of smaller size and they took less time as well. There are ways but they always come with the price 👍hope that help a bit. Thanks for dropping a comment.

You will get there! Good luck 👍
Excellent recovery 😊
Thanks. Luckly, everything worked out well. 👍
Good video, Mr. Falcon!
Thank you King 👍
Fantastic recovery, I though for sure you were going to have to start over.
Why don't you zero on the stock itself?
Thank you. I did consider to start all over but i didn't want to waste the wood and time :)

Thank you 👍
Hmmm. So the total machining time took a little over 6 hours? Is there a faster way to execute the finishing tool path? Thanks for sharing.

Mistake I have 0.25mm bit but maybe I was doing this with 1.5mm, not sure.
Do you make your own files or do you purchase them?
I buy them online. They are quite cheap on ebay or etsy
