Randi, just thought I'd share but in December I was put in the hospital during Christmas.. January 19th had my gallbladder removed then January 24th I was diagnosed with bile duct cancer. February 16th I had surgery to remove part of my liver along with removing the bile duct cancer. 17 staples from the bottom of my chest to my belly button. I am 8 weeks post surgery and started Chemo pills two weeks ago..Will be on them for 6 months.
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us. Since I'm not working I've been watching your videos and when I get up in the morning (you are on my mind) to "reset the house". While on chemo,I have good days and bad but I just wanted to thank you because keeping my 5 bedroom two bath home (no children at home) is doable and I look forward to your next video. No moving anything big to clean at the moment but my home is my happy place now.

When I’m not in the mood to clean i just go to 27 fox place and watch a video or two. Off to clean and it’s just me and my husband so there’s not really a lot to do and we don’t have pets. Enjoy all your videos so very much..

I have been watching , enjoying and being motivated by your videos for a long time now. You are a very thorough cleaner, and you keep a beautiful home. It’s so good to see as not too many people know how to clean these days. I was taught by a very fussy mother and I too like to keep a clean and organised home. But because of this, I find it hard to be comfortable whenever we go away on vacation and stay at different places. Most places are not clean enough for me, which makes me uncomfortable. Are you like this too and if so, how do you handle this? Thank you for keeping me motivated !
It doesn’t really bother me when I visit with people. Hotels… yuk! 😂 It has to be really bad to bother me. I grew up in different households. my grandmother was very tidy, but dad…not so much. I had to learn how to keep a house clean. 🤷🏼♀️

Hey Randi! I love all your cleaning videos, they're so motivational! I saw you put some stainless steel pots / pans in the dishwasher - can you post / explain how you cook with me without sticking / getting them properly cleaned?
I need to get that food saver!! I try to wipe out my oven after I use it!! It makes it so much easier and saves me so much time!! Have a great week!!
I try to remember to check mine when I do my after supper cleanup routine. So much easier to clean up a spill or scrape the glass splashes before they get too many and too baked on.

I used a tiny bit of Barkeeper’s Friend to clean the inside glass on our oven recently and it worked beautifully. Much less messy than the baking soda ‘method’ so many push on RUclips. We don’t like the odor from our self-cleaning feature on the oven so I use EasyOff for self-clean ovens and leave it on overnight. No, it’s not ‘natural’ but it certainly makes the most detestable chore in the kitchen a whole big lot easier.
I had planned to get into our kitchen today to do a ‘big clean’ in the cabinets so this was a very inspirational video-Thanks, Randi!!

I am not sure if you have tried this on the glass oven door but I sprinkle baking soda and then spray white vinegar on it and leave it for 20-30 minutes making sure to keep it damp with white vinegar. Then I go in with the sponge or if need be the scraper. It will smell like vinegar for a bit in your kitchen but I refuse to use that easy off stuff that smells like death. LOL.
Hi Randi. I don’t know why I find your cleaning motivational videos so satisfying, but they are. I even tease my family how exhausted I am after watching. 😉 With that said, we are currently having a kitchen update with new painted cabinets installed. I’m certain yours stay clean, but is it really necessary to wipe them down so frequently? My age and physical challenges make it difficult, but I never want them to look like my old ones. I must say you have the energy I long for. Thank you!
I would think frequent wiping with a damp cloth would damage the finish over time, even if it is followed by a dry cloth. I can’t imagine Randi’s cooking creates greasy vapor that isn’t caught by the hood vent.
I would you may not need to clean as often. Every one is different. experiment a little. I find it’s takes less effort if I do it more often. 🤷🏼♀️ but you also don’t need to clean them all at the same time. Clean a one or two cabinets a day or week, maybe. Clean the cabinets that need it more often. Like under the sink and above the stove.
I’m amazed how grease gets everywhere when we cook on the stove. It just gets in the air. The upper cabinets get greasy, and the lower cabinets get splattered with everything 😂

Granite is not something I would DIY. we hired a contractor to install it. It’s polished granite.

Hi Randi, i absolutely love your videos. They keep me motivated each week. Just wondering if your appliances (fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine) have filters. My appliances are all LG except the dishwasher. The dishwasher, i periodically pull the filter out and wash it. It is in the bottom of the machine. My fridge has one and it is located in the back. My washing machine has one on the front. Even though my LG appliance are less than 2yrs old, I need to look into the filters on my LG appliances. Have a great week.

Randi, doesn’t your floor get scratched when you pull the fridge out and push it back?
I’d like to have the old style kitchen where the fridge isn’t in an enclosure. There’d be a lot more flexibility in what type to buy, as well as the air circulation they require.
The fridge is on rollers so it doesn’t damage the floor. But it’s still heavy. 😂

Oh my oven beeping 1: 00 am again at 3:30 and again 5:30 am I had the stove for 6 months I got five years Warranty on the oven. the technician been out here twice. I
Hi Randi, would you recommend that wet vac for bathrooms? Do you use a different roller when you do that area? I like how easy it was to use. We have hardwood floors and tiles so floor cleaning is always happening (esp since we have a cat). Thanks for doing your video!
I usually clean around the toilet with a disposable cloth. The space is very small and It’s the only way I can get behind the toilet. Then I can mop the rest of the floor. It’s very easy to switch the rollers. Thanks so much! 🥰

Is your mop considered a steam mop? And do you use any cleaning solution or just water? We had a built in fridge like yours in the last house I had to chuckle when you were pushing it in…I had the same issues! I have had a few different appliance brands in the last few years because of the move and things breaking down prior to the move…I don’t think there is a brand out there anymore that is positive. I asked a repair man what he recommends and he said save the old ones as long as you can new ones are not good! Glad your rain finally stopped and you can start enjoying the outdoors. We had a week of 80s here in wisconsin but it’s been back to reality of 40s…but good days are coming ☀️
Hi! No, it’s not a steam mop. You can add cleaner to the water solution. I clean both ways. I remember my parents grumbling about how nothing lasts 🤣 it’s hard to believe it’s even worse! 😱 spring weather is too unpredictable for me, and then it will be too hot 🤦🏼♀️ I prefer fall weather. What do you use to get that oven so clean?
I use the self-clean setting on the oven. It takes hours to clean it…but it’s completely hands off 😂
