The funny thing though is that all of the opponents Valentina has faced since going down to Flyweight, she has managed to take them down - Cachoeira, Joanna, Eye, Carmouche, Chookagian, Maia and of course Andrade. And of all those fighters, Maia was the only one to take her down.
Taking the GSP route of beating opponents at their own game and not sticking to any one particular method of fighting. Smart decision, as it makes it even more difficult for her opponents to prepare for her.
