How To Remove a Softopper [2021 Silverado]

What about removing the side rails, would that be a problem

No, rails can come off easily, just remove the 4 clamps that hold it to the bed.

Thanks I have a short bed Silverado with a tonneau cover that I want to put back on when not using the softopper.

No noticeable difference in mileage. Had 2 trips with over 1000 miles round trip each and was happy with the mpg
