The Font installer is actually to ensure that your installed Fonts work on the web version on Figma. You don't need to install the Font Installer for the desktop application.
smart animate is the sweetest thing ever. If Adobe makes figma go 7-day free trial or something of that sort, I'd have to switch to penpot but I'd never be happy without smart animate
I just opened Sketch, re-watched this video to see if I can really understand what you mean by "mac uniqueness" but couldn't find one. NOTHING makes it special than other apps I'm running on my mac.
Nice analysis, thanks! For me there is no discussion Figma is the better tool. The whole Token approach (+ Figma Tokens) is a deal breaker on managing headless multi-themed DS and handoff. PenPot is still miles ahead, and Sketch was left behind a few chapters ago. I just hope Adobe does not kill what has become an insanely advanced tool.
