It would make my quality of life so much better if the DAX editor didn't remove all my DAX code if the title alrwady exist. Small change, much frustration. Cheers!
Please add default slicer values with DAX. One of the top voted ideas. Please…
You can add it with field parameters, dax or field
@@paulocaffo How exactly? Do you have a link to a sample?
It would be good if this and the Fabric video were split into sections so we can just choose which to watch and just have one monthly update to follow.
Much better with some presenters understaning the chnage and not just reading badly off a script.
Imke Fieldman! She is my go-to Guru for all things M code.
I go to the Italians (SQLBI) first when I have DAX questions, and Imke (The BIccountant) first when I have Power Query/M questions.
@BeholdNails Best decision ever! Paying a pro for an hour can save you weeks of finding out yourself. They are worth every penny.
Yes they have enabled comments this month - Model Explorer - calculations groups and relationships - this is a very important updated - also this does not work with analysis services tabular models that have already been publised (wish it did)
- I would however state this is not ful model feature for tabular modelling, there are now sections for object level security (RLS could do with additional work)
Unless puplishing to an app workspace, does using the OneDrive and SharePoint integration require a paid Power BI License or can this be used with no or free Power BI license as well?
When viewing a measure in a model created by someone else it would be massively helpful to be able to read the dax. This will also help peer review and uat.
Put the code in the description
When are we getting dark mode?????
Can you make so that I don't have to log in every time I open a new PBI window? Am I missing something?
Yeah, I'm frustrated too with this logging in everytime that too multiple times.
I have some issues when using fdata hierarchy on data flyout. It's not working by my side I have the October version of Power BI . But I can't switch data to hierarchy or vice versa by using right click or data flyout. Too bad because I wanted to present it to my organization tomorrow. Could you fix it please ?
I always thought it was funny how the narrator always ends the videos with “Leave a like and a comment below” but the comment section was always turned off. Now I can officially leave a like and a comment! Thanks Power BI team.
Excited to see your comments, Christopher! 💛
Good thing you didnt turn em off like last few months!@@MicrosoftPowerBI
...Unless your comments include a link to the user forum complaints about on-object interaction. They're deleting them from the comments here. Probably should have just left commenting off.
Excellent updates.
Great to have the video on the update. But, it is not very clear. It can be shown on the example how to use new features. Otherwise it is not easy to catch up.
Please add conditional color formatting to area charts
good job adding videos for the features
Huh?
and still no dark mode and not working GA connector...Nice that we don't need tabular editor to create calculations items
@Ryan, Are you from persian background?
There's a issue, the custom labels in data labels doesn't work, Many are facing this issue, Please fix ASAP!
Hey Rohith, we are sorry to hear you are running into issues. Do you see an error message at all? If so, please send us a screenshot or more details. We’ll be on the lookout for your reply!
@@MicrosoftPowerBI You can check out the community of the same issue where screenshots are available
why can't we use power bi on ubuntu ? do something about that
When exporting from desktop power to PDF the document that is poorly written in the PDF with a larger size even if it changes to a custom size, I have consulted this in different forums and many users have the same problem.
Hi, Mefi! Apologies for the delayed response, and thank you for reaching out. We understand that you're having an issue with a document that is poorly written in the PDF with a larger size, even if it changes to a custom size when exporting from desktop Power BI to PDF. We'll do our best to help.
We appreciate your effort in reaching out to different forums with regard to this concern. May we know if you have tried reaching out to your IT admin for assistance?
We'll wait for your response.
Hi there, Mefi! How are you doing? It appears that we haven't received a reply from you yet. We're hoping that your document related issue is already resolved. If not, then please confirm if you have tried reaching out to your IT admin regarding this. Thanks again, and have a great day.
Bring back the visual pane, too many clicks and retraining of all Power BI users.
Loren should get a new mic! 😂
yes that was awful to listen to.
@@GrantHartleyBrown I totally agree! sounded very unprofessional.
The on-object interactions functionality is still trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist, and remains incredibly less intuitive than the fully functional current UI. Please listen to the hundreds of developers who have given very clear feedback on this that we absolutely don't want it. You've spent a year of resources rebuilding a terrible version of what already works.
Agree!!!
Is it power Bi outdated ?? Not getting calls..what we should do if learn this course??
Power BI staff are literally deleting comments that link to the user forum complaints about on-object interaction. Thanks, PBI team.
The video is too long. Please make these videos brief and straight to the point. Thank you.
Update 2/2 ????? 1/1 it seems
1/2
2 divide by 2 is 1, so mathematically speaking.... Yeah only 1 slide is correct

Drinking game.....eybrows up, bottoms up
Hi Multi Billion Company. Buy your employees some decent Mics please. Thank you!
That in object demo was so deceptive. She turned on the title from the formatting pane but had to go to the visual to enter text. It would have been faster to just expand the format pane ( which should happen automatically when something is enabled ) and enter the title there. Stop trying to make on object happen. It is a rotten feature and will ruin the core product.
