The Eckold DFG 400/50 PH stationary clinching unit is an innovative, proven machine for joining together multiple sheet metal pieces. The primary advantage of clinching is the fact that positive joints can be formed directly from the sheet metal material. Clinching is also suitable for joining work pieces of different materials and thicknesses together. At an affordable price, the DFG 400/50 PH opens up new possibilities for an economical production and reproducible results. The DFG 400/50 PH allows for larger work pieces with a 17.7” (450 mm) throat depth and has a total thickness capacity of 0.118” (3 mm). Different sized and shaped dies are available for a variety of clinching applications.
