One of my favorite things about this show is the fact that the recurring cast is genuinely a part of the world and show, majority of them are named and always have a part in just about every episode, ranging from being in the background or maybe having a single line, to actually being a major character in the episode and driving the plot, makes the world in the show feel alot more genuine and full of life. I like how characters weren't just created for just one episode, but are established and seen at the start of the series, :)
As a kid who was bullied in school, I can really resonate with Julian's desire to help his friends get back at their bullies. I also appreciate that that's the only real time we've seen him go out of his way to cause any sort of chaos. Every other time it's been either Ghoulian or he's under someone's or something's control. It shows that he really is a good kid, he just, at that time, didn't know of a better way to help solve he and his friends' problems

Julian’s (And to a giant extent Evil Julian/Ghoulian’s) Human and Stanked designs may be one of the best ones I saw. No wonder since the character designer is none other than the creator of Invader Zim
I have a theory that he might learn real magic after being exposed to the Land of Shadows. Just like how he always wanted to be a magician, honestly after what he's gone through, he deserves it.
Now I can kinda see some connections on why they made the other version of him the next sorcerer for season 2. He supports the sorcerer’s power when he is able to turn his friends into monsters like in their club He looked like he liked The sorceress more than everyone else, he offered her a bat sculpture out of earwax while everyone else gave her items they had or bought, then before running with everyone else he is the first to get up and yell at the Ninja about Amanda The sorcerer even chose him as his steed in order to reach McFist and Viceroy He pretends to have a bad creepy side and I think all of his anger from bullying and his behavior helped create Evil Julian, who is easily angry, power hungry, and still acts creepy like when he wore a robe in a sunny day with a different voice Also as a joke 0:50 reminds me of… Sorcerer: “It ELUDES ME!!” (From the sorcerers key episode)

His parents rented out an entire arcade AND got their universe's Criss Angel to perform at his birthday, he comes to school every day in full goth regalia (NOT cheap), and he apparently has a custom chair *just* for playing DnD at lunch. Either he doesn't realize this isn't normal, or he doesn't want people to like him just because his family is loaded.
