We all speak different languages and come from different cultures. Our one thing in common is Dimash. I am so fortunate to be alive to see and hear this young man. I found him in 2017, he was just 22. He’s going to be 30 in May. I thought, “Who on earth is he” and have followed him since. My understanding is that Igor Krutoy himself suggested that Dimash contact David Foster in LA in early 2023 to determine how to best approach the American audience. This is the result a song Dimash wrote and sang in Hong Kong December 2023 as a result. I believe he spent several months in LA also meeting with filmographers to learn more. Once they were “hooked” within American style mv Americans and others who have not been aware of him would explore and find his creative artistry, music, vocals, and filmography.
