"Former President Donald Trump mocked President Joe Biden for not wanting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to participate in the upcoming presidential debates. And then, in the very same social media post, Trump argued against RFK Jr. participating in the debates.
In an absolute journey of a Truth Social post Thursday morning, Trump needled Biden for requesting one-on-one debates - excluding RFK Jr. from the proceedings.
“Crooked Joe Biden does not want RFK Jr. in the debates because Junior’ is far left him (sic) and they would be debating over the same territory, like ridiculous Open Borders and the Green New Scam, both of which are killing our Country,” Trump wrote. “He’s also sharper and far more intelligent than Joe, all making for a bad combination of ingredients.”"

Dr. Jill Stein should be on that debate, with or without RFK Jr. It would be a lot better for Americans to see and hear her, and hear her opinions on the issues, alongside Biden and Trump. She would be a great addition to the stage, so that Trump doesn't get so much attention. Add RFK Jr, and the event gets even better. More choice, not less!

The idea of democrats being "left-wing" is preposterous.
They are liberals at best - and that's a right-wing stance.
If you think of yourself as on the left and you identify yourself as _"a liberal"_ you're just as wrong as the fascists claiming to be conservatives.
Liberals might have some coincidental overlap with some _socially liberal_ positions associated with 'the left' for instance in regards to gender expression and sexuality, drug policies, migration, abortion, secularism and similar matters but that's courtesy of their focus on _individual freedom_ and their rejection of regulations as such including environmental regulations, unions and tariffs, FDA regulations, Affirmative Action, social welfare programs, gun control and taxes (oh how much they hate taxes) besides a lot of other things.
_"Liberalism"_ as such doesn't mean anything without referencing the context: _Political/Economical Liberalism_ is a completly different animal than _Social Liberalism,_ - that's why 'the left' tends to support _social liberalism_ while being diametrically opposed to _political/economical liberalism._
Conservatism means to put all responsibility on long dead people - if you just do what already your grandparent had done strictly as expected you don't have to take responsibility for anything.
Liberalism means putting all the responsibility on the individual with society not owing you anything - and "left-wing approaches" see both the individual as well as society at large to be responsible for personal and social prosperity.

I'm following US politics and "political zeitgeist" quite closely although I'm not even US american myself for various reasons - mostly because I'm incredibly concerned about how closly the GOP adheres to the literal nazi playbook without huge chunks of the population realizing it because they seem to have no idea what otherwise thoroughly defined and academically agreed upon political terms actually mean.
Hitherto it had been exclusivly US americans trying to school me about how 'left-wing' the nazis had been and how socialist their policies were, oblivious to the fact that coincidentally I'm german myself and a history buff at that so such bullshit doesn't fly with me.
I don't mean to preach from a high horse, I'm well aware that the majority of US americans are decent people and anything but stupid - but it's almost orwellian to see that the meaning of _basic words_ has become this arbitrary that communication as such seems to be impossible at this point.
