It feels like people playing 7DL and hatching Yggdrasil often forget that you’re not setting up for Ugodo and you need to actually attack normally to win, just like TJ said, control was good but there was no aggression and Lucemon stayed way too long on the board while never actually going for the evolve when adding a DL to Security.
So because Yggdrasil was on the board, nothing can digivolve. So he was purely doing it just to recover and buff up security. But otherwise you’re absolutely correct, more aggression needs to be shown when you hatch that boi.
So the reason i kept Lucemon around as long as i did is because i do have to keep in mind that Royal Knights has the ability to just vomit damage damage late game. Since I don't have access to Ogudo, the mindset is at least to try and set up some security to sponge through. Admittedly, the Luce did stick around a little too long which led to deck out but still.
@@Noctis_Versus Your reasoning is sound, but with how “slow” RK can be I thought you were gonna be trying to take their security as quick as possible but sometimes it felt you were lacking aggression while just preparing for the Omni to fall down. Your board control was great though.
Hey everyone, Ryo here! Sorry for the misplays and stuff. Admittedly, the 3 Yggs here are more than I have encountered with my entire time with the deck so far lol. Still getting used to opening with it. Still learning all the ins and outs of the deck. Thanks for the support as usual.
The missplays i thought i did in game 2 after the match was over did happen. I didn't draw off omeka, 13:20, and then drew off digi emperor, 14:03, when i shouldn't have on my following turn after the omeka lol
@Boldship same I just got your current deck list for dorugamon. I know it's not it's final form but I enjoy having a challenge because then you find combos you normally wouldn't have thought of. Won't be catching me smooth braining doruga haha.

But yeah, one recovery is nice but feel like Luce still stayed his welcome.
