The softer brown on the floor really warms up the rooms. When you said you wanted a new area rug I slightly gasped, loved the black and gold, but the new one really works, thumbs up. The new mantle really made the fireplace come together. The new coffee table and chair are fantastic, I think the chair is my favorite new piece, all together much warmer and cozy, but still a showroom. Bellissimo

@@GingerLolaMiniatures Of course not 😊 it's normal and also respectful to the adage of the stage. Actors experience the same thing when filming a new movie or opening night for a play.

Put a flicker lite behind the fire ..nice .!
I tried using the little battery operated lights but too big, doesn't fit, i think i may try removing the plastic around it.

I got some of those orange flickering tea lights that are battery operated from $Tree. Makes he fire looks real behind the one you made.
that would be cool, but maybe they're too big, wonder if i can remove the plastic around it?? thanks for the idea :)
Hmmm. Now I dont think the Couch matches? Basket could use some Logs? Also maybe add a Throw Blanket on the couch with colors from the bea carpet! ❤

True, I do need a new couch, I think creating the chair gave me confidence to make a sofa now :) but for now, I like your idea of the throw blanket, I'll make a #short video with the changes, and usually i do have 'logs' in that basket for the fireplace :)

Why wouldn't you just stain the board floor?
I prefer to use shelf paper, less messy and i can change it up a lot easier :)

I’m sorry but the clouds are so fake I’d have left them off.
Look outside your house. Is that what you see Alice?? The fireplace needed a darker gray in the inside and some darker dry brush on the outside. I do like the color you mixed. I’d like to have seen the egg carton texture on the inside a slight shade difference may have done it. As they say “You do You” it’s all good. Very boring world if we was all the same.
yah, i'm not happy with the clouds either .... i used another background before with tree branches, but i didn't like how the branches were going inside the window.... i'll try to come up with something :)
