I’ll have yet to know how exactly Engel planned on killing Alice? Alice is just as huge of a threat as the likes of the three teachers (including Miss Circle). actually she might be even more threatening because when Claire entered Alice’s room, even the three teachers were shocked and possibly worried that a student would recklessly enter in the room of someone so dangerous.
When Engel tried to save Claire from Miss Circle, he suffered wounds and an injured eye. And if it’s true that Alice is a bigger threat than Miss Circle, Engel would likely be the one being killed if he tried casting his revenge on Alice. No firearms are ever present in the school premises, so there may only be blunt and sharp weapons. Though even that might be ineffective towards Alice.
So if Engel truly was the eligible suspect, I will need an explanation for how he took Alice down. One that is ACCURATE to the setting of Fundamental Paper Education and its characters. I’m open for someone to enlighten me, entertain my biggest question!

Ok,Firstly, I think that the suspect in Alice's death was Engel Because everyone's word starts with E N G E L E+N+G+E+L=ENGEL spelled out another of Engel's suspicions is that we can see that in the last seconds of the animation he sees Claire's corpse on the ground completely torn and torn and how he saw that the Alice who killed the claire,He decided to take revenge on her by killing her. Some things to point out:
Apparently, everyone already knows who did it.
Oliver is Alice's BF as we know.
Stepping in Alice's room gives you color, and Alice is the main source of color in the school. Once she comes out, the school isn't visibly paper anymore.
Engel and Claire do seem to have a sort of bond, and Alice killed Claire.
And the most obvious, Miss Circle is scared of Alice.
Let's get onto some questions.
Why does Zip need to look out if they already know who caused the murder?
Why are Zip's "paint" stains not a solid color?
Why is Oliver not serious about Alice's death if they had a bond?
And, though the letters spell Engel, how would he do it?
Heres a small concept:
Zip's stains aren't a solid color. Judging off some other colored things like Oliver's "A+" on his head, that isn't regular.
You know what else isn't regular? Alice.
She can bring more features to the world around her.
In this case, since Zip wasn't colored like Claire's corpse AND has the stains, is it possible Zip could've killed Alice from outside? Think about it..
Zip is friends with Oliver, so Oliver probably wouldn't blame them without evidence. As Alice said, "I will laugh at your pain". Yes, Engel lost Claire which is painful, but here's another case: Zip losing friendship with Oliver, leading to usual school drama.. which emberassment can be pain.
Another thing to pinpoint: The artstyle used is different from FPE's main style. This could prove the paint is blood, as in some styles blood is transparent.
Zip could've opened the door to lure Alice out and kill her somehow. After all, how would they find out if she was killed in her room? Would they check on her..? Well, maybe Oliver would. Even then, he isn't serious. If Alice was killed from the outside, it explains why Zip is still paper. The teachers and others were paper once the school got color. But even then, only Claire, the one who stepped in the room, had color.
If anything, Zip would've done it from the outside and suspicious as it is. There isn't a lot defending Oliver either as he seems odd too, but it COULD be a two-killer case.. after all, they are friends, and maybe Oliver ditched her. If they're pranksters, they might have good planning.

Given that Miss Circle is scared of Alice, that satanic corpse was definitely a threat.
Engel wanting revenge, Zip possibly wanting action 《Oliver described the school as 'boring'》 or just peace since they knew Alice was powerful and a possible threat to their life.
Engel was swift enough to block a hit for Claire. Zip is a prankster and helped Oliver lure Claire into Alice's room.
'Regardless of what they have done', huh Engel? Whyd ya throw out specifics?
It likely was a teamup between Engel and Zip, as we have planning and reaction time with them. That alone is enough for a murder as Zip also likely knew how to catch Alice offguard due to being considered a bully.
And, as Engel (if I recall) has claw hands like Ms. Thavel, he likely could've done more damage than Claire if she were to fight back. Remember, Miss Thavel SLICED A BOOK IN HALF WITH HER HANDS. And, Zip is friends with Oliver. Oliver is Alice's BF. Zip could've knew how to strike as Oliver might give bits of information about Alice, you know, school stuff.
Definitely a team up. Engel was more obvious to notice, but then again, he'd likely make a foolish mistake without assistance.

I personally believe Zip is the most eligible suspect. Hear me out.
- Oliver is literally Alice’s boyfriend. And from the looks of it, the two have a good relationship, and there’s no indication whatsoever that the two would get into some conflict, let alone a violent one.
- Miss Circle does not want to mess with Alice, seriously. It’s a rule in Paper School that no one, at any circumstance, must enter the blue door that is Alice’s room.
- Engel would have needed an extremely special way to have murdered an entity that might be even more threatening than Miss Circle herself. But to be honest, planning out elaborate schemes just to kill someone seems far out of his moral compass even when he is traumatized.
He may have survived the fight with Miss Circle, but he suffered wounds and injuries from that fight. He definitely would have been killed trying to cast revenge on Alice.
He’s only considered the culprit because of the first letter of each response. But remember, this is a hard difficulty case. For all we know, the first letter thing might be an elaborate trick. And almost everyone’s fallen for it.
Also an extra pointer, barely any weaponry at all might be effective against Alice. There are NO firearms nor projectile weapons present in the premises of Paper School, sharp objects and blunt objects might not be effective against her, and she’s likely fast enough to dodge almost all potential obstacles. No wonder she’s isolated in a whole room dedicated to her, no wonder it’s a rule never to enter Alice’s room.
Now, let’s get to Zip. Yeah, um, I have not figured out any way that Zip would be innocent, ever. Sorry. My only defense for her is merely a question, and the question is, why is Zip the most eligible suspect? But let’s get to the other details.
We DON’T have an indication that the stains on Zip aren’t blood stains. Pretty sure fresh paint stains look much more, I dunno, dense than blood stains? And watercolour would go down and dry up far too quickly.
Also, let’s talk about the hint given at the start. Why does Zip have to keep a lookout when *everyone* already knows who the murderer is? Keep note, EVERYONE already knows. That means Zip should’ve known too. Wouldn’t she have trusted everyone else and stayed away from one person if she really was innocent? Yet she still has to be on a lookout. Maybe she’s trying to keep a lookout to avoid any confrontation from other people.
But it’s just a theory, a Fundamental Paper Education theory! And honestly, I don’t even know if I got everything (from the culprit to the reasons) right, damn.

I will say Engel, he has the motivation (Claire's death), he might be the only one brave enough to do it since he did try to stop the teachers from chasing Claire. Oliver and Zip wouldnt do it since Oliver X Alice is canon and Zip is Oliver's friend so its likely she wouldn't do it. Miss Circle is afraid of Alice, so with all that in mind its basically guaranteed it is Engel, the only question would be how did he get the tools necessary to kill an entity like Alice? Okay. Here are PROOF that Engel is the killer. I can confirm that he killed Alice
1. In the beginning of every sentence the characters say the letters are E (enlighten) N (no way) G (great) E (eheheh) L (laugh) which will be Engel if you put it together. That gives a little hint he might be the murderer.
2. Engel and Claire were good friends. But Claire got fooled by Oliver and Zip because they put “exit” on Alice’s room’s door. So she was attacked by Alice, ended up dying.
