    How did you put those nice curls into it?

      Hi! I actually curled this wig MONTHS ago! I wear her periodically for anywhere from 2-8 hours in a day. I try to go as many hours and wears as I can before washing... and I haven't had to touch up the curl at all as it relaxed into this beautiful wave! I used a Beachwaver Curling Iron in the 1.25 barrel (which is large and relaxes into beautiful waves. I could not curl hair very well until I discovered this brand! Here is a video I did on another wig and there is a coupon code in the description of the video: ruclips.net/video/gwBTD4mxWSU/видео.html

      Which wig brand would you say has the lowest density wigs? I have a small head and everything looks like a lion's hair on me so I'd like to find wigs with low density. I've watched your videos and you mentioned the brand but I can't remember on which one you mention it. TIA

    I just love this piece! It's everything I've been searching for in a synthetic. The length, the subtle bends and how they bend away from the face. Just beautiful, thanks for sharing. 😊

    I don’t cut my HH wigs anymore. Once it’s cut off you can’t put it back. I use accessories to change and alter my HH wigs to suit my face, my activities, and the temperature. You can do so much with a collection of beautiful accessories. Natural shedding will debunk your wig over time. HH hair is easier because it doesn’t matt up and tangle like synthetic, even when it’s super long. Use a quality spray in detangler and conditioner. I buy lace free virgin remy Jewish wigs because they last so much longer. Just pull out a small amount of your bio baby hair around the front hairline and blend into the wig for a natural hairline. If you don’t have any hair you can use a velvet wig grip with some sewn on lace and hair. You used to be able to buy these lace front wig grips from Israel, but I haven’t found them there lately. I love wearing wigs and feel undressed without one. New wig wearers, be encouraged not to give up, but, keep working on it. Don’t get rid of wigs that aren’t working for you because in a years’ time you’ll get it out and you’ll know exactly how to make it work well. The beaded jewelry is beautiful.

      I have a human hair wig, and it absolutely mats up at the nape and occipital region. I don’t even have to do anything: I can drive around and go about my job, and it’ll mat up.
      I think people who are new to wigs need to be aware that they will do that and not read a comment and go in thinking that they are absolutely a breeze to take care of. They are not.
      I would love to have a kosher remy wig, but I don’t have $3,000 to spend on one.

      @@melissavintagetinkub7648 The hair quality is so important. I have the book Wig Life and use the tips and recommendations. The right product on my quality hair gives me the hassle-free results. Buy the best quality hair you can afford instead of lots of cheaper wigs. If you already have a tangling HH wig, use the silicon coating treatment prescribed in the Wig Life book for silky, tangle-free hair.

    I have definitely ruined some pieces by cutting bangs with my scissors. Thank you for recommending the razor. It's in my cart. I'll have to watch one of your videos before trying this again.

    2:10 Customization Svc:
    You don’t have the town/state listed on front? Or do I not see it? I’m sure the latter since that would be the 1st criteria.

      That's a great point! I guess I didn't think to add it because the people who do customizations on my list often don't have a shop, that is why I called the tab "Send in services".... they are a mail in service where you would have a video call with them, they would have you take your measurements if you are looking for cutting services, and then you would mail the wig in to them. I will add a column, though, just in case I come across someone who has a shop that people can go to. Thanks for suggesting!

    Do you have a favorite human hair wig to recommend?

    • @heywigsister
      @heywigsister  8 месяцев назад +1

      I really don't... I have many that I love for various reasons. For example, I love this one for the density and the customization options they offer (cap type, color, cut). I love May Wigs because she does amazing color, she is one of the few who do customs, and her prices are great! The challenge with her, though, is that she only has one cap type, 13" lace frontal, which isn't always ideal for everyone. In Vogue Medical Wigs & Beyond is amazing and I love the owner Kirsten so much... but she doesn't always have wigs available to purchase (usually does wig drops on the 25th of the month and they sell out quickly) and she doesn't customize things, so it is tough to recommend her to a new wig wearer. Lu's Wigs has a ton of variety and also does customs but her prices are a little higher... you can see why I have trouble recommending a favorite, lol! I do have a coupon code for all but Lu's...
