How can anyone forget about a whole album and tour when you all won't let up off her. Jesus. She announced it in 2020, there was a pandemic going on and still going on. Other artist cancelled tours and/or put tours on hold because of it. She is being careful not only for her sake, but her childs sake...and other friends and family to not get COVID and pass it on to others. Did you all forget about that? And she is not the type to just throw something together and put it out there. She's always been 2 years out in releasing new music, but since Eissa from 2015 - 2022 is the longest she's ever waited...and again, music isn't selling that well like is use too as far physical copies, so a lot of times it's not beneficial for an artist to put our an entire album, less and only a single. Janet is not the only one who has fans begging or angry at her for new music, fans of Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and other artists or pissed at the long awaited release of new music. So everyone is going to have to wait and chill.
Here's the 411: Janet and Justin both have the same publicist and both have new albums coming out. (This is why Janet made nice with Justin in her documentary). Justin's was scheduled to come out in January but he pushed it back because of her documentary. Justin is going to release his album first and then when the hype dies down, Janet will release hers so that neither steals the other's thunder. If you watch the last scene of her documentary, they replayed her "Black Diamond" announcement from 2020 at the very end. They wouldn't have done that if she scrapped the whole thing. Also, she had been posting pics from both the recording studio and dance rehearsals with her choreographer. It's coming.

Janet is love and adore by millions of people this documentary was a glimpse into her life and showing her as a real living breathing person not just somebody you see on stage performance and things for you but someone living and breathing with real life issues hurts pains and discomfort from time to time I have love Janet said she perform on the Jackson 5 she’s two years older than me I watched her on good times I watched her on different strokes I watched her on saying when she left I stopped watching the show because she wasn’t there anymore I have followed her career from her very first album up until now I can honestly say without a doubt in my heart that I love her I hope one day I could actually meet her that would be a dream come true for me all I say is the best to her and everything that she does she deserves it
It's been my observation that many artists don't like to talk about an upcoming album or tour until they are ready to make the official announcement. Many times I've heard artists say there may be something soon...I don't know when, and then like a few months later or something they finally make an official announcement. I believe Janet is just waiting for the right time to spring the news on us, don't let her fool you! I would be willing to bet she'll release a new project by the end of the year. Everybody keep asking her about new music but they're skating around the question of asking her about new music and she's skating around their question when she answers. It's a yes or no that you're putting out new music. And if you say yes and they ask when and it's your job to give them estimate of when it's coming. Like I've been waiting on this album forever. I understand the pandemic messed a lot of things up but there have been a lot of artists that still released their music. I'm praying to the heavens above.
How is she skating around it, she more than likely has a layout plan of how she's going to present her music and tour, "if" a tour is possible during this pandemic. You all need to take into account that, there are liabilities that come with touring during a pandemic which could pan out to be millions of dollars if people contract COVID and there are always vulchers, waiting in the wings to cash in on an artist. So that for one could be an issue, then there is timing, she does have a child and also I'm sure she has other business ventures she has to attend to and negotiating tours, production, music, etc....and things change. She hasn't forgot about what she's promised, but you all keep rehashing it, but not getting yourselves ready for it the album name changes, the tour name changes, or even if she's going to go on tour. Let her give us what she wants and can - gees.
