Hi Lucy very beautiful page love the colours of the pumpkins 😊
Great blending techniques....im practicing!!
I love that pumpkin page.
Super cute page. I love it🤗😍
Hi Lucy I am really sorry that the picture didn't turn out as you wanted. But you are a brilliant colourist and I knew you'd find a way to rescue it. I think it turned out absolutely stunning. I love watching how you rescue a page because if I make a mistake I can learn what you did to put it right. Keep up the good work Lucy. Happy colouring Samantha Taylor.
Thanks Samantha 😊 💕
Loved every moment....gorgeous page. Had to order the book so i could do it too.
I would love to see when you're finished Carol 💕
Lucy, I love the work, but mostly I enjoy you. Love from across the pond.
That's so much Maria 💕
Love how this turned out! Tfs
Thanks Pixie 😊 💕
Your pumpkins patch turned out beautiful, but I did feel sorry for you with all the problems you've had to deal with. I would take a chance on the page and sur the metallic silver for the spider webs you don't have to do it on every line, but maybe on some of the lines, for the star shapes centre for example? Just go for it! I always do my background last to prevent smudges an the fixatie is the last thing I used. The endresult is absolutely stunning again. Have a really nice week dear Lucy 🥰😘💜
Thank you my lovely 😍
Love it! Makes me want to go pick a pumpkin 🤗. I ruined a page by not thinking and put on some hand lotion...ugh! Glad you were able to save your page. Take care dear friend 💖💜
It's so frustrating Bonnie 💕
Hi Lucy! Thank you for coloring with Polychromos again! Maybe we also look out for hand lotion, i can amagine it doesn’t work wel with pencils. Beautifull page Lucy, i adore your colorings!
Thanks Linda 😊
Beautiful page, Lucy! I love watching your videos, I learn so much from you, 🍂🍁🧡
Very Beautiful Picture, Lucy ! Beware of the Baby Wipes, I always keep a damp kitchen towel near me. Thank You very much for Sharing 👍🏻😍🎃
Lucy I'm going to pause this and resume it tomorrow so that I can open to that page and work with you because today I'm in the middle of one I'm so sorry. Although maybe I'll squeeze it in starting it tonight. At any rate, I love what you do and I love how open and honest you are with us please don't ever change that. I am new to your channel and I absolutely love your videos. Hopefully when I manage to get up the wherewithal to restart on mine which I'm hoping will be later this month I will be able to come back with less fear because you are so inspiring.
Oh bless you that's lovely 😍
@@lucyjustaddscolour-adultco3135 oh Lucy sweetheart I am begging you from somebody who is worked on professional pastel pieces throughout the years please do not ever blow the chalk again it blows it up into the air and then you inhale it and many of those pigments are toxic if inhaled. I suffer from lung disease so I know very very well how dangerous that is just pick up the piece of paper or book and tap it off above your trash can and that way it doesn't blow up into the air it goes straight down. I'm not trying to be bossy I'm so sorry if I'm coming across that way. But I am a professional artist and I am really concerned for your safety and by the way if you are worried about cutting yourself with those blades get a slice brand ceramic blade knife you are so much less likely to cut your skin then you are with a metal blade they are the only things I use and you can scrape your pastels with them.
Pumpkin patches never looked so lovely! You make us all smile! Thank you
So amazing. 😮 I just found your channel. I love it. 😊💕
Welcome Julie I am so glad to hear you are enjoying my channel 💕
Lucy this is beautiful! Love all the pumpkin colors💖😍
Instead of baby wipes, you could also just use a damp cloth or damp paper towel, that way you don't have to get up and leave what you're doing to go wash your hands. That's what I would do because I don't like leaving what I'm doing, but usually I'm buried in colored pencils and other art supplies. I don't have a desk or anywhere I can sit properly and color and have my art supplies on a table or desk, so it's a pain for me to have to have to move all of my supplies and leave the room to go wash my hands in the middle of what I'm doing. Hopefully soon I will have a better place to do my coloring! Pray for me yall! LOL!
Hi Lucy. Always enjoy your videos. A German lesson for you today 😊. Herbst is German for autumn
🤣thank you x
Very relaxing ❤
Thank you so much for sharing how you do your pastel backgrounds! I do appreciate it and learned from your coloring. Your pages are beautiful!
Love the coloring, you give me so many color combination choices. Thanks for sharing. Take care of yourself.
That turned out really pretty. I've got those soft pastels too and I've written the numbers with white gel pen above their 'beds'. But that doen't help I guess when you drop them. They looked pretty good, btw, considering the dropping.
Beautiful as usual! I love to watch and listen to your videos! I wait for them to come out. Thank you for what you do for us!
Wonderful as usual Lucy. Please don't edit the drama, you're fab 🤗
Beautiful page Lucy, great save on the stock. Hope you have a great day/night take care
This turned out great and I love all the color combos. I appreciate you showing how to work through it when things don’t go as planned. You’d never know from the finished page that there were some bumps in the road. And thanks for using polys, my favorite!
Thank you for showing your work with the soft pastels, I have the mungyo ones but Im always interested to see others using pastels. Maybe I get the Faber Castell ones too ☺
Love your beautyful work 😍
Hi Lucy, I know they are a teeny bit more expensive but if you get the Water Wipes all they are is water and a spot of fruit extract….they don’t leave any residue at all xx
Wish you would have used the paint pens on the cobwebs, as you are so talented to us, Lucy, & it would have looked even better! I honestly think you would be even more satisfied with your pages if you were more “adventurous,” as you say. Much love!
Yes I agree I have tried more since this video
I think your page turned out beautiful Lucy, I got the book yesterday so started it also last night ( Aussie) so I enjoyed listening while i colored ! one my fav colorist because you keep it real and honest and you enjoy what you do!
That's lovely to hear thank you Lisa 😊 💕
Another triumph Lucy. It was so enjoyable to watch. I always feel like you are talking just to me. I too have had problems with this book and some polychromos colours. Black widows work well in this book and some of the harder pencils. No hand lotion involved in my issues so have to come to the conclusion that it’s the paper. Any way all that matters is that the picture came out beautiful in the end. I can recommend arnica gel for that aching hand. It’s non greasy and sinks in well. I use the SBC brand and it’s fab for joint pain in general.
That's really helpful Heather I will look into getting some 💕
Just out of curiosity Lucy I wonder if you used a solvent like zest-it if that would solve your problem with the oils on your page....I think your color palette is stunning and I'm glad you perservered it looks beautiful!💓💓💓💓
Thanks Debbie 😊
This is beautiful! 🎃🧡🍁
Thank you so much Deb. I hope you're doing well 💗
This page is turning out to be such fun. Interestingly, I had exactly the same issue when I used reworkable fixative in another book. It worked in some places and simply slid over others. I thought it was the type of fixative I was using 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷.
0:17 "Mein Herbst Spaziergang" translates to "my autumn/fall walk". ....I am German 😘 just for your Info sweety, "harvest" in German is "Ernte"
Lovely, as always Lucy, just a wee point, you mis-spelled stalk. Good save 👍
😂 thanks Audrey 😊
Fab work Lucy as always xxx
I have this page marked to color this season too- Great inspiration as always Lucy! Someone else said it here, I was wondering if a blender pencil would help those areas that were resisting. All the best! ❤❤❤
I was wondering if spraying with workable fixative would have helped the area that wouldn't accept the pencil?
Wat heb je dit mooi gedaan😅
Lucy,do you use acrylic paint on coloring pages?
I have done yes
Would your Derwent blender pen help with the lower left corner? Btw ... Is stork a British term for stem? Beautiful picture 😻 Lucy 🌹!!! ❣️🙋
Yes Rana, the word is actually "stalk"
