Hi Nathan. Glad to see you over here. Just got the TI BA II Plus (not the pro as in the video) and I would like to have your secret sauce for L1 as mentioned in the video.
I always carry TWO Texas Instrumentals BA II Professional Calculators to the exam hall (after Level 1, as did not want to risk the old calculator running out of battery in the subsequent levels). Both of them are working great till date, though.
I don't know about these special calculators but I have been using normal calculators for years now, a calculator rarely stops working out of nowhere because of low battery, it would give signs such as blur display and taking longer time to show numbers before it stop showing results.
There's a low chance of calculator battery failure on exam day, but in the small chance it happens it can ruin months of hard preparation. If you have a new battery, there's nothing to fear. Good luck on your exams!
Are we allowed to have two calculators (a regular calculator for basic algebra and a financial calcular like the Texas Instruments BA II Plus)?
