  • We had an opportunity to upgrade to the Cunard Queen Anne Clyde Suite cabin 5157 on a 2024 cruise from Southampton, UK to Iceland and back. This video is a short walk-around tour of the suite, moving from the entry around the entire suite mostly in a clock-wise direction. I intend to add a voice-over in due course but wanted to get this video uploaded while it is still fresh, without waiting to do the voice over and editing. The room was quite nice, although some aspects were imperfect. The lighting controls are confusing and difficult to master, even after two weeks. The controls over the bead are also back-lit and illuminate the bed and room when one is trying to sleep. Take some gaffer's tape or similar to cover the buttons while you're trying to sleep. The master bath (there are two bathrooms in the suite!) was very very nice, but lacked storage and a double-sink vanity would have been a very welcome aspect. Reference our bathroom on our most recent Holland-America Rotterdam cruise posted on this channel to see what a nearly perfect cruise-ship bathroom should be like. That Holland-America Rotterdam was the same basic platform (Pinnacle Class) as Queen Anne, but the suite type was very different. A Cunard Q4 is probably closest to a Holland-America Neptune Suite. The mattress was too firm for my taste and made sleeping on my side uncomfortable on my hip.
