Sounds like a dreamy, orchestral intro tune to a black & white Western Romance! ⛰️✨
Crazy patch - almost mindblowing its all synthesis!
This composition would make Robert Fripp and Brian Eno proud!! (and many others) total bliss. Bravo!
Very nice indeed.
Your music is a treasure. Thank you for doing what you do 🙏
You are great inspiration for my work. You, r beny and flohr are the reason why i started listening to ambient synth stuff!
Putting this on after a long day = pure joy and satisfaction
always nice to dive again into your music , its like a wonderful, sweet and safe place
Holy shit this is one of the best eurorack compositions in a while! Thank you!
Incredible as always! I really needed that today! Thanks!
This is beautiful!
Just beautiful!

Really digging this - great marriage of modular and tape! 🙏🏻
Double Rings sounds so good!
Thanks Ann. You make inspired music, it feels great to listen.
Lovely music, inspirational
I really appreciate this. I forget how delicate and expressive modular can be sometimes. Thank you. Thank you.
Wow this is so beautiful! Again :-)
What a great way to start my morning
beautiful, from the start to the end! I really love your harmonic structures...
This is wonderful
Very Artistic, Great Sound..
Thanks for the inspiration, it got me starting my own channel! Keep them coming!
Now, that’s a perfect way to start the day! I love the combination of modular and 4 track cassette. Truly magical and peaceful vibes!
Great job!
Beautiful
Amazing.
I've listened to it with pleasure / greetings from Düsseldorf
Loved it. Hard to find new sounds after a while but there were several I have never heard before on this. Thanks for sharing. Keep exploring!
Thanks for sharing your music.
thanks for this, sunk right in
Such small modular system, such beautiful music
Lovely soundscapes. I particularly dig those bells. Need to turn on Rings again :-)
Lovely... :-)
I´ve been thinking about, that some day I should take the step further from analog synths, and dive in to the world of modular. Videos like this makes the decision pretty easy...
Excellent! :-)
Wonderful
masterful
3:18 that harmonics and note change! Damn!
That was cool! Maybe my old collection of cassette tapes really can still be of use.
Really cool idea.
this is ace x
Wonderbeautiful
always good ..
Wonderful performance.
I love your toys!
close your eyes, breathe and listen. This is meditation.
goosebumps :)
wow... thanks from far away
love your music, and tatoo also.
This is pleasant
very nice
Why do you start thinking so much when you hear this? Anyways it's really pleasant to think to!
Wow.
Oh man. 💆♂️
I was accidentally watching it in 1.5 times speed and it was incredible. Way to go! Normal speed is cool too I guess ;)
Wow I was almost through the song and rewinded just a bit and played it at 1.5x and I could hardly notice it was different. It was sort of mind blowing!!
tape loops + modular
ann annie
мой любимый творец здесь..спасибо
Да вообще, сама эстетика!
This is fucking amazing, inspiring!
I like the peacock 😉
Now I want a modular, god damn. I own analog a4 and Zoomh5 recorder, so now I'm thinking that it's possible to use headphone output on recorder as a source of audio recorded on zoom and process it on some interesting modules. I' ll think about that. This seems like a good way to deal with my anxiety and feeling depressed all the time. Thank you for that piece. Enjoyed a lot!
P.S. Hope there's a easy way to sync modular with midi clock and stuff to record it in ableton and trig midi notes.
Beautiful, tape adds such a nice warmth. Did you ditch Elements for 2 Rings?
Awesome as usual ! The modular is not too hot for the tascam or your recorded via the line out of your Rosie ?
Nice. Would you mind building a little Modular Grid for these?
Tasty
You're an inspiration. Truly masterful stuff.
And I'm gonna follow that up with a truly basic question: where did you get that case? I'm building my first modular system and I can't seem to find any cases as fun to look at as yours.
traded it with a fellow Modular artist! It’s a Monorocket Mission 6c
Your videos are so so nice! Just wondering how you mix the different parts coming from the modular?
Make noise rosie! plus triatt occasionally
Nice, is the Clouds patched to the send bus on the Rosie?
Super!!! How did you create the sample on the tape? It has a totally '80s soundtrack vibe!!
I recorded it from the modular!
ann annie cool!! Thanks!!!
How are you using the tape machine in this patch? pre recorded loops?
Using Ch. 1, 2, 3, & 4 as a two stereo channels for pre recorded drones from the Modular. Ch. 5&6 are used as a stereo input for live Modular sounds
What size is your case? It looks very nice and expensive!!! One day after people stop thinking Eurorack is cool I’ll finally have one. Lol I’m always late to the party!
Nevermind my obsession with eurorack enabled me to make a guess at 96HP (x2). I came up with that based on my estimations of the hp of the modules in the top row. My guess came out to 94...i was off by 2 lol. Or I could be over by 10...
This is beautiful. I'm picking up a Mother 32 in the coming weeks, partly motivated by your earlier videos with the Minlogue (which I also have), and I was wondering what you'd consider to be the most essential modules to pair with it for starters? I'm particularly interested in whatever you're using in the Bamboo video with the TV, what is that?
Also, do you plan on putting all of your RUclips stuff on Bandcamp? I've loved to be able to listen away from RUclips

If you don't have any effects I would recommend a delay and a reverb pedal firs, and probably an external mixer. Then You might want a third voice (VCO). But you want more modulators, like envelopes and LFO's, and something to modulate them again. Maybe Maths by Make Noise. You also want VCA's, (as they say: "you can not have enough VCA's), and then you want mixers.
My first module to go with a Mother was a Mutable Instruments Clouds, that you might be able to get hold on from some shops on the net or secondhand. I got another Mother now btw, and together they are more than two. So I would recommend you to get another semimodular before you think to much about separate modules. Depending on what you like I would say 0 coast, Lifeforms, Atlantis or another Mother 32.
How many HP is your case???
Alberto Casini it's a 6u 104 hp case, 208hp in total
No the monorocket cases are 6u at 90hp
You're right, my bad!
Around 4:07 I get lifted out of my skin and become something more.
Andrew huang brought me here :)
Hi! I'm following your steps, my modular looks like the one you had a few months ago (www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/498203). Someone ask me to create a 30-45min live performance with it, i'm so excited and completely lost at the same time! Would like to share with you on how to organise an ambient piece with these few modules without patching live! Any tips for me?
Why for you not do Oscar award winning movie soundtracks?
don't.stop.making.music
Wow. This was so beautiful up until 04:30. What is up with all you modular artists getting so enamored with adding static noise? Are you trying to symbolize entropy/death? Depressing and annoying! I was having the same argument with R Beny.
it’s so interesting the way each of us perceive sound differently. My philosophy in music, particularly Modular is to elicit an emotion, however you may experience it. There is no right answer. Part of the beauty is it’s ability to make one listener feel completely different than another. To me white noise is the perfect example of sound in which perception is almost entirely based upon opinion / state of mind; un-pitched and creating a blank texture, only the listener can write what they feel about it. Even more interesting is that what you heard, was in fact ocean sounds. I perceive it only as this as I experienced its creation, an example of the “qualia” I hope to create :)
Well, pieces of ocean sounds. Artists! (Sigh. ;-) ). But my point was that I'm seeing a trend towards static among mod artists. You can't ALL be thinking the same thing, can you? Still, I love the vast majority of your work. :-)
I'll make you a deal: You find a cure for Meniere's disease, and then I'll chill. :-) I actually like refrigerator hums and such, but I consider them a drone sound upon which to build coherent musical sound, not to destroy it. Also, I don't see anything wrong with music critique as long as it's not being mean. Ideas make music. :-)
n-so: To me, static is sterile. Random noise is, after all, what the physical universe will supposedly dissolve into at its death, just as Ann chopped up ocean wave sounds in such a way that they sounded to me like white noise.
great way of expressing it.
